I'm on the second floor and one of the doors when I opened it it disappeared?? I have had this happened in several FMs, is there any fix for this it is annoying!!
Can I do the files clean up and not lose my progress?

Awesome so far!!Thanks to the team

You probably passed some long hallways with lots of bedrooms. One of them has a note with more information about the trap.
It will point you to a room where you can disable the trap, but finding it can be a bit tricky. It's the highest point in the map. It took me a while to find the stairs (roping up is also possible)

Classic Dark Engine bug that, unfortunately. It can happen if the centre of a door ends up in solid when it's open, and sometimes when you first open a door, the position is a bit off, so it can happen to otherwise unaffected doors.

Where do I find the concealed lever in the Cardinal's chambers ? Edit: Found it.

Is there a secret to the catacombs? Some lever I missed?

Yeah it's clearly near the bell, but I can't find the place itself, nor can't see any place to rope arrow to. Maybe I need an outright solution at this point.

edit: found it: it's a lever in the Cardinal's chamber. It's exact location is in his bed.

Not sure if this is intended, or an interesting typo.

When reading 'The Tale of the Stone', the passages are numbered in order with the numbers 26, 27, 28, 24, 25, 26, 27 in Roman numericals.

Where there should be XXIX for 29, we get XXIV instead, which is 24. The subsequent passages continue as if 24 is canonical.

It takes me a very long time before I get upset about Roman numericals, but when I do I am LIVID.

I've finished everything needed here so I'm just taffing about now, and there's one place I can't get to.

It's the abandoned prison cell. In the room west of the waterwheels in the sewers, there's a hole in the wall where one can see into a room with a tattered cloth hanging. This room can also be reached by swimming through the open sewage tunnel while heading westwards to the well, but then I'm confronted by a cell door that seemingly cannot be opened.

There appears to be a passage inside the cell leading eastwards, but I cannot find any way to reach it.

    Thoughts?

Hint for Tale of the Stone location (Expert)? The other objectives have fairly useful clues in readables but I haven't been able to find any for the book.

This objective is one of the few that randomises per playthrough. There are three possible locations, in order of likelihood:

    1) Father Cruciger's chambers
    2) The second floor Council Chambers
    3) The ground-floor lectern in the Scriptorium

It can also appear in the Council Chambers.

I have just finished the mission. The whole place is amazing. Just by looking up in the nave you feel small, like in a real-life cathedral. I really liked the smal crawlspaces that circumvent difficult guard routes. The hidden things that you have to find are properly hinted if you read the readables. God bless the authors for not making the mission into a "find the lever in the dark spot" type one.

Thanks for the tip, skacky and DirkBogan. I just missed it because a guard was chasing me at the time, and it wasn't in the "obvious" location.

I believe I know the room I'm supposed to go to, but I can't for the life of me find this lever. Is it not The Cardinal's room? my other guess was the belltower but I couldn't find anything there either.

You're in the right place, check the bed. Specifically the inside of the canopy.

in the factory area by Master Forger Raynaldus' office there is a lever that triggers a noise, but I can't find what is moving. there is enough other sound in the area that it is very hard to track, can someone point me in the right direction?
    edit: found it, look up
there is also one downstairs by the forger I can't see an effect from...
but I'll take the opportunity to applaud the forger himself! switching tools, hammering, quenching... this is an impressive process!

I have been to the first two locations several times and been unable to locate Tale of the Stone. I'm not sure which room the Scriptorium is, but if it is next to the kitchen with a few tables near a lecturn with a fireplace on the other side of the room, then I have searched there several times, as well. Could I have specific location spoilers for where the book might be in the first two locations you listed?

The Scriptorium is marked on your map. It is in the southeast. For Cruciger, it'son his desk. For Council Chambers, the round table

Just finished this mission. Well done, straightforward, clean. I got most of the loot this time (about 100 short). I had fun with rope arrows, especially outside the bell tower from the scriptorium balcony, yay! I saw something in the sewers, got me a bit freaked out, I guess it will come up again in a future mission! I think I enjoyed the first two missions over this one, but it was still excellent. (The disruption bombs don't seem very useful, maybe the area of effect should be larger?)
