Is there a purpose to the magical symbol in the bathroom? Do I unlock anything with it?
Where's the key for the Apothecary shop?, also what is the use of the explosive charge?
Got a question, Stycaveus' Antimonium place has this lever behind the bars, with the ladder going down. How do I reach it? Is it something I have to reach from the zombie district and it's just a way to go back to the normal one?
@Pachira, if the place I mentioned in my question is the place you're thinking about, then it's opened from the inside, find another way in.
Edit: I found it. My question now is, are there any hidden locations unlocked with the magical symbols?

A safe was mentioned in the readable of the guy watching over the wall at the things below in the sealed quarter, and he hid his key in the safe. Where can I find the safe?
I am now at 2105 in loot and probably missed a big chunk of it. I have
1. an explosive charge, but no use for it.
2. Still didnīt found the key to unlock the ground floor door of Glendower estate (westernmost house) to the sealed quarter
3. Didnīt find the safe in the ruins.
Have a look around the top floor, assuming you're inside that door and trying to get out. If you're outside and trying to get in, a rope arrow will allow you to enter the building, and you'll be near the thing you're looking for.
Look for a stone panel that's also a door
Kubrick: What you're looking for can be found in the room before you get to the lord's balcony, the one with the giant statue in the corner. It's a decorated wall tile that is frobbable, at normal height. When heading back from the balcony, it's on the right-hand side.
For those wondering about the explosive device: Where you found it there's also a half-bricked up window/doorway. Place the explosive device there and nail it with the fire arrow that can be found in the same area. That's a way to make an entrance.

mission 5 complete on expert, i liked this mission the best so far, amazing city layout although the pipes in air should have been a bit more discrete in placement, this is the point the dye hard thief fan is hookedwill play mission 6 later tonight
I was able to unlock all (or 4 at least) of the locked cold doors in Hawtrey manor with the Garden Key (from the house where the guy is observing the sealed section). That doesn't seem right. Is that supposed to happen? There was no soundeffect when the doors swung open.
Didn't actually go into any of those rooms, kept playing, explored pretty much all of the manor before I found the ghost in the chest, went up to the room, got branded, from here on the mission seems to be working as intended.

Yes, that is a bug.
Hey there, so I'm currently playing this mission in normal mode, still exploring the city (not the "sealed" part), and I stole stuff from that place not far North of the starting point where 2 servants and a guard had a discussion about the price of food and such as I entered earlier.
As far as I know they never actually saw me inside, however one of the servants sometimes goes outside, and if they happen to see me while I'm standing in the street, they get alerted and the guards start attacking me which sounds a bit unfair.
That's an engine issue. Unfortunately, not much can be done about it.
Question on the portraits:Are they all in plain sight? I cannot locate the 7th one
Finished on hard with 1792 loot out of like 3k., and pretty sure I was all over. Where the hell's that secret stash? lol
Amazing one, loved the inclusion of the necromancers
I'm also missing one of the paintings. Are there two in the attic? I already found one in the room with the cage.
Found it, thanks. I thought I was seeing one of the rooms I've already accessed when I looked down that open hatch, so I didn't bother climbing down there. Whoops.
I'm kind of mystified by the floating blue face at the very bottom of the sewers, I spotted it when I slipped and fell all the way down and died. With a bit of finagling I managed to find my way down there by dropping and bouncing off of the blue face, but once down there it just hurls skulls at me until I kill it, at which point it teleports me back up. I did spot a passageway behind one of the machines near where the teleport put me but haven't found a way back there yet, if it's even reachable and I don't even know if it has anything to do with what I found. I feel like I've done some stuff very much out of order here![]()
This mission is the point where I say that the 7 year development was totally worth it. The story was definitely written by a master. Making the player believe this campaign is only a series of unconnected heists and then dropping a bomb - let alone a nuke - that scraps the main objective of the mission and leaves the protagonist "branded" was totally unexpected and flawlessly executed. I genuinely felt cheated, in a good way, that I sneaked all the way to the heart of the mission just to find out the harp doesn't even exist, and to add insult to injury, it's just a trap to lure the main character and the others before him to the manor. After touching the idol and seeing what happened I just wanted to get out of the sealed section, I didn't even care about the loot anymore, and I think Hume would have done the same.
Congratulations on the release of this mission. It must have been a nightmare to design with all the polygons needed to represent the sealed section as it is, dilapidated, dead and decaying.
