The mage's house (next to his tower) has a readable which has a hint where one power stone might be.

    Yellow stone
Tip 1: There is a mark '?' in the map. Search this area well (low and high).
Tip 2: There are two ways to get the yellow stone. One is above mentioned route, another involves teleporting. Pagan house (southwest area) with 'red' elevator, search well (low and high).

    Bracelet
Tip: Sir Darklon's quarters is mostly in one level but there's kinda a small second level. It involves climbing or going through some narrow pathways (two ways).

Downwinder, have you been in very high area where skeleton is patrolling and 'green' skull is flying . There is a statue with skull as it's head, look closely at that statue. I can send some photos (from both paths) if this doesn't help, but don't know if I can put spoiler tags for that?

Load the screenshot onto the photo sharing site such as imgur.com or postimage.org and post the link for the screenshot, which you can put in spoiler tags.

Thanks fortuni! Good job downwinder, you have found lots of stuff already!
Here's the photos to help finding the yellow stone (Voidman's Amber). There's two different paths.

What an absolute beast of an FM, very well done!

Stats: Expert: 4Hours 22minutes, 7144/8914 loot, 4/6 Pockets, 2 Bonus Daggers found. Need to replay and revisit a few places I couldn't figure out how to enter, but feels like that's still missing a big chunk of the rewards.

The absolute nooks I found loot it was so much rewarding and encouraging exploration beyond any other FM I've played. A true playground for explorers and would-be exploiters. Best of luck to fortuni and Klatremus with the guides and supremes!

Well I've eventually finished this extraordinary mission with all objectives complete plus 2 x bonus objectives and 6450g. Simply put this is one of the best missions in recent years and that's saying something bearing in mind how many superb missions there have been recently. The map is staggeringly good, a complex city with multiple pathways, hidden locations everywhere, vents leading from one building to another and double backing on yourself until you are so confused your head hurts. How anyone is meant to find everything, especially all the loot, in their first playthrough is any ones guess, but wish them the best of taffing luck.

Lord Taffer you have excelled, thank you.

I agree with the comments Great Mission and Thanks!!! But I can't see the connection to TDS in another contest mission there is the loot glint and the blueish haze by area transfers?

Don't get me wrong I have enjoyed this very much!!

My guess it could be stretched that this is an open city hub?

I'm 4.5 hours in (game-time, RL time is easily twice that) and just broke the 77% mark on total loot found, and I'm missing the Azure stone. I have all the other objectives completed.

    Interesting things I've found:

    # A scroll about how it's nice to "climb up here to relax".
    # Another scroll referencing "The Whistling of the Gears" and trying to find "the edge of the world". (I get the feeling finding this may have unlocked something elsewhere. Can anyone confirm/deny?)
    # A readable about how Captain Harrigan's perservence means that even the highest of apartments are not safe from him.
    # A floating scroll, hidden in plain sight of everyone.
    # A cup that can only be frobbed via a very long drop.
    # The one place that can only be accessed via crate ladder... and fortunately doesn't contain anything. (Open ceiling space with visible machinery, in a room with a light gem stuck on the wall, in the Southeast corner of the map.)

    Places I've yet to reach:

    # The section of the museum under the glass floor.
    # The thief high up to the far central south part of the map.
    # The archer high up in a (clock?)tower in the northeast part of the map.
    # The 'intruder' painting (wherever that is).
    # What appears to be a piece of loot in a circular niche on the south side at the very top of the building between Sir Darklon's and the pub. (How the heck does one get up there?)
    # The big fire high up in the Southwest-section. That floating skull is probably the key, but I've yet to put serious work into riding it.
    # The door with the fancy elemental lock in the museum.
    # Inside the tunnel at the east end of the lava river, the one where a guard is patrolling back and forth.

This FM is phenomenal. I'm having way too much fun with this one.

Has anyone figured out how to open the portcullis down in the lava river that below and to the east of Sir Darklons place..? Also where is the bloody key to Sir Darklons place. And lastly tried finding a way into the museum

if i remember right the key for mr dark is in the museum area where you get one of the gems, the rest is done from mr dark place like 3 ways out once down there

and to access museum i think you go north from start, up high as you go then you flip a switch to open a grate to a lower area then to museum, you will enter in center of museum bottom floor

i got lucky on finding museum first then mages then mr dark along way a ton of things to find , i am still missing a lot and will go back to explore more

a true master piece in my view so much to do and explore from street level up high thieves highway and a great size underground stuff all over

Unkillable Cat, I'll try to answer some of your findings that might need some explanation. You found plenty!

    - "The Whistling of the Gears" and trying to find "the edge of the world" --> At some point I had an vague idea to add more to this mystery, but didn't have time anymore: So, that place itself and the readable is all you find from there.
    - A floating scroll, hidden in plain sight of everyone. --> This could be some mistake if it's really floating in the air somewhere and seems out of place and isn't readable.
    - The thief and the archer, both high up, it shouldn't be possible (anymore in this version) to get to them.

    - The 'intruder' painting --> This involves finding a 'blocked' place and delving stuff there.
    - What appears to be a piece of loot in a circular niche on the south side at the very top of the building between Sir Darklon's and the pub. --> If I understand the location right, this place shouldn't have loot and there's no way to climb there.
    - The big fire high up in the Southwest-section. That floating skull is probably the key, but I've yet to put serious work into riding it. --> I think you can't climb there, but let me know if you can.
    - Inside the tunnel at the east end of the lava river, the one where a guard is patrolling back and forth.
--> Sadly, there's no access here.

    * Important ones, check these only if you want tips (the museum):
    - The section of the museum under the glass floor. --> Try to get there, under the big grates. The pathway is close. And this: 'The door with the fancy elemental lock in the museum' --> is connected to earlier.

Thanks very much for the help Lord Taffer. For most of those I figured that was the case.

I have to give credit with the ingenuity in regards to the first scroll I mentioned. I stared at that roof for quite a while without seeing it, and then I thought: "Hang on... it's like that for a reason, ainnit?"

As to the floating one... I meant the Mage's personal diary. It's a funny place to store it, but Mages are weird.

And one final question: In my delvings in the northeast section I can swear I came across a room filled with lava and a vendor sign visible in the far left corner, up against the wall. I took one look at this room, said "I'll come back later"... and now I can't find it again. Am I losing my mind here?

Can I get some tips how to get into these areas:
1 - There is a guard walking inside and a piece of loot here https://imgur.com/a/DRX24Oc
2 - There is a thief reacting to loud noises somewhere here https://imgur.com/a/pu4JOvg
3 - There is an awkward circle shape cutout in the museum balcony, but I was not able to find a way to open it https://imgur.com/a/wemPEi8

I think you might be talking about the area that is marked with '?' in the map and here the low levels/ground levels should have the vendor sign against the wall. This place is the only one I have in my right now, but this place is south.

One other idea you might be talking about, is this place in NE areas:

    Hope this helps!

    Mefix:

    1. There's no access here, and there shouldn't really be any loot. If there is, it's beyond me because I just checked.
    2. That thief's hideout isn't accessible.
    3. No secrets here, just a bit awkward design.

You're right, I mistook the coin in the water in the tower for the corridor piece of loot.
