This is a Thief 2 mission. Requires NewDark. Likely incompatible with texture/model replacers.

this is a weird but fun mission with a lot of meta commentary (I feel like I'm missing quite a bit).
in the Keeper area there is a notepad that highlights but cannot be frobbed. Am I supposed to find a writing implement?

  4. #4
Nope, that was an oversight. It shouldn't be frobbable.

Does anyone else has a problem with some textures being plain blue? Could this be caused by EP2 textures (yes, it is not recommended to play with these on, but I never experienced any problems so far in other fan missions.) Anyway, this is a really weird and strange mission so far by architecture, seems not really polished gameplay-wise (i.e. if you use the keeper key in the sewers the plate moving backwards will actually seal off the keeper area, accessible from the cellar of the building opposite to the One Man´s Trash shop).

Well I took my first sip of your mission (and I am grateful for every new fan mission, so I appreciate your work! ) and will probably finish this mission another day.

You usually see blue textures like that when you play with the wrong game, this mission is a T2 mission, are you playing via TG?

I checked it, I play this FM with T2, I am using FMSel.

I just tested a fresh installation, then with latest newdark, then EP2, all via fmsel. I didn't see any blue textures. Is anyone else getting them? Can anyone confirm NOT getting them?

I'm stuck.. How to get the gastroenterologist's manuscript?. I can't avoid it to be blown away

    and

in the same room, there is a barred room that have loot. I see an entrance from a hole, but can't figure out how to get there.

*how does one ally with the Synchronists? is it related to the plant pot in the basement? I think I need to get the eye from the master bedroom and plant it, but I have a bug where arrows get stuck in front of me so I can't hit the target in the sculpture's mouth.
*how does one escape? I went back down and didn't see any newly opened doors or any means of egress.

    Crazy mission

How to commit that PCMSK? I don't know why, but water doesn't kill me anymore, but the PCMSK objective isn't checked.

You commit PSMCK by picking up the Franchise's gold, as Dr. Bekhirst explains. That's the only thing that should make you permanently water-immune, though there's a bug with prunesies that makes you heal constantly.

Same here, I'm unable to finish the mission. Also, I sudenly lost immunity to water. Don't know what else to do.

  16. #16
You shouldn't lose immunity after PSMCK, but apparently there's a bug that makes you lose it if you save and load afterwards.

Ordinarily I wouldn't explain this, but since there are so many bugs - to end the level, I think you missed a readable in the first floor toilet

Finished, weird mission, but funny after all. Short on loot, and I couldn't get the gastroenterologist's manuscript.

it seems to come and go; sometimes I can't fire arrows or throw items, sometimes I can. Once the man cave door was a black void when viewed from inside, other times it wasn't. Once I fell in water after reading the end note and died despite having the dead goldbeast in inventory.

I actually liked the loot glint, especially on non-standard loot items. Other authors should adopt that for the first instance of a new item to let players know they are worth picking up *ahem* silver candlesticks in Black Parade
what did the new items like sweet oil and perfume do?

I do not recommend texture/model replacers.

    KNOWN BUGS
    - Prunesies make you immortal.
    - If you save and load after PSMCK, you lose water immunity.
    - The optional objectives should be mutually exclusive as indicated, but for now you can do both. It's not recommended, as it makes the endgame silly.
    - Pagans count as bystanders, despite attacking.
Perhaps you should consider patching your mission.

Seems like PSMCK picking that golden beast should be done at the very end of mission

Amongst the humorous missions, this takes the cake. Well done playing to the T3 Theme with the twists on ironic level of detail, it was hilarious! The whole thing made me chuckle loads along the way, Trickster's Cork, Yoga Class, Stealable "everything", poem in bucket and the private stall bowels especially

Stats: 48 minutes with 3169/3951 loot found

A few bugs as mentioned previously but nothing a patch or two cant fix.

Btw strong Deus Ex vibes at the beginning, scratched an itch a bit.

Never in my life did I ever expect to emerge from a Goatsy portal and that alone already made this FM worth the ride.

I just uploaded a bugfixed version. See second post from the top.

If this drops me out of the contest, so be it.
