character who turned out to be a high-ranking wizard at the Academy of the Trefoil Serpent,
a secretive and pretentious college for wizards perched high in the mountains.
This wizard, Kethmar, wants to usurp the Archmage Volthazar, and apparently is one of a number of
malcontents among the Academy's faculty who wish to bring about change in the institution. Yet none
will dare to openly defy the Archmage while he holds the Mehrgarh Stele, a stone tablet of abstruse
prophesies. On paper, the job is simple - Kethmar wants a skilled outsider to infiltrate the Academy
and smash the Stele into pieces. This accomplished, Kethmar and those allied to him can seize power
and forge a new destiny for the Academy.
After hearing the particulars of the job that he had rashly agreed to, Halyard realised it would be
beyond his abilities to complete alone, and so he wants my help. Under normal circumstances,
I wouldn't tangle with these wizards, but money's tight, and the wizard already paid Halyard
a sizeable advance. Even half of it is enough to keep me in business for a while longer, and with
the promise of more to come upon completion of the job, I reluctantly agreed to help.

This is amazing mission. I like the lore and setting.
I have found 7 of 8 wands (Twistpine, Slinghorn, Fire Opal, Lunarc, Mystforge, Frostgem, Aethermist). I need a hint to find the final wand.

mission complete on expert, loot =4460/4792, 2/2 pockets picked,,4/5 secrets, 1 hour 47min to complete i liked this mission the shalebridge guys are creepy

Fantastic mission nicked!! Enjoyed exploring this huge complex! I didn't find all of the wands so I need to replay and search some more.

well - i was blind ironmaning the mission - dunno how far I got but I was in a tower on the second level - i picked up a key and when I read the readable beside it it crashed to desktop with the readable onscreen. *sigh*
EDIT: based on timesstamp of the installation folder and the crash.dmp creation time it was roughly 1hr, 20 minutes

some readable add notes to map last page seems like you got a crash when it tried to add notes to map
yeah - it's a known bug in the dark engine - when there is a "book" readable screen up the second notifation sound cannot be handled togother and the windows crash handler gets involved. I found an interrupt not handled faultseg in the dump file. I'll restart my ironman attempt tomorrow after a good night sleep. I will disable goal notification and auto-equip before I start this time.

Loved this mission- the notes function and optional ghost objective were both great! Exited first time with 6/8 from the bonus objective, 4190 or so loot. The constructs are a great touch, I love the glyphs inscribed on them. When I first entered the keep and heard them, I worried I was walking into another Matriarch scenario- but it was perhaps even worse!

cannot find the Aethermist Wand inside the Tower, is it in a secret room?
Also I cannot find the key to the locked door of Kethmars room. Any tips would
be appreciated

Specifically it's on a shelf on the same floor as the teleporter.
Let's count secrets. I have found only 3:
1. A coin purse on the beams above the Yurrick studying golem
2. Openable panel in a small library room
3. Coin stash on the beams in the Astronomy tower.
What are the other 2?
