I had this exact same thought while I was messing around with it. It's so easy to use it might actually get me to start roughing out ideas for FMs I've had.
I recently came across the game Tiny Glade, which is a simple building game, and I noticed something about my first couple creations:
They look like they'd be fun Thief missions.
It made me realize Tiny Glade might actually work really well as a sketchpad of sorts - a quick way to rough out city exteriors in a fun way to see what works before getting into Dromed.
A few examples I put together in my first couple hours with it:
It has a first person camera mode so you can run around your creation to see how it feels.
The game doesn't really handle interiors in a useful way right now, so it would be just for the exteriors/city streets.

These settings are necessary for planning effective stealth routes and immersive environments. It can certainly serve as a valuable visual reference in the early stages of mission design.
