Thanks for the kind words, we're very happy you enjoyed it! Merry Christmas!

Hey! Tannar and pukey. Great to see you two back. And you brought a present!
(Now I feel bad... I didn't get you anything.)
The mission is a classic, absolutely fabulous. And I only died once killed by a flying candle - so embarrassing.
And to think that you did it two months is amazing.
Still looking for almost a thousand in loot, but Thiefy Christmas to you two!

@Balboa: Thanks so much, and great to be back! Yeah, didn't want to return empty handed, lol. And no worries, you've already given us many presents! : )
Those flying candles are a menace, it seems. When I die in Thief it's often ignoble and embarrassing!
I'm very glad you enjoyed the mission so much. At some point we'll post a loot list.
    Merry Christmas to you too!

You need to destroy Tiny Tim's fruitcake and at least five others. The other fruitcakes are scattered around town. Check your objectives. Once you have Tim's and 5 of the others, head back to Tim's apartment building and look for the managers office on the ground floor. Enter it and go to the basement.

Lovely mission, I enjoyed every second!

But I have one question, how can I solve 4th good deed? I finished cakes, socks and the missing girl one, I guess the last one has something to do with letterbox in the apartment complex we meet Tiny Tim?

Actually, all the good deed are secrets so they're outside the main objectives. Too soon to post them all here yet, but yes on the letterbox. After you read the letter to Lumpy, did you take it with you? And yes, the stockings you completed is also one.

Oh, so it was this one! I didn't take it first time I found it, thank you for the hint!

Unfortunately, I'm getting a crash to desktop as soon as I begin the mission in any difficulty. Strange, never happened before on Thief...

Oh, this mission is so cool, I love it. I have never played a mission that felt so alive! I walk around and just keep smiling, haha

I have however one little problem. I found the special wine, but when I bring it to the kitchen the objective stays unfulfilled. Am I missing something?

Edit: I mean the spiced wine

That is strange, question for you - we are working on a fix for a problem Cardia is having that may have to do with how some items are read through the loader. Is your first language set to English or another? Just wondering if they might be related as we work on the fix.

Glad you're having some Christmas-y fun For the spiced wine, you need to frob it onto the counter where a cutting board highlights - it's a sort of key/lock setup. I'm assuming you're just dropping it into the kitchen, but let us know if I misunderstood.

Ah, yes, I was indeed just dropping it. It's working now

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't suppose there's any chance you are loading it as TG mission?

I'm not, I'm in T2. Loaded it up in dromed and it's working fine there, but it's not really playable...

Without a little more to go on I'm not sure where to begin looking for the cause. You could try opening it in Dromed, going into game mode, hitting Escape to get to the menu, hit Quit, then New Game and see if it plays through T2 that way. If it crashes, check the root folder for a crash log.

Thanks! That was what I needed. Also, this was an absolutely amazing mission! I loved the general Christmas-y atmosphere, all the music, all the references to various things, the humor, the carolers singing at doorsteps, the "staged events" and the briefing/ending videos - this was awesome!

Thank you very much! We are thrilled that you enjoyed the mission and all the details! I assume from your comment that you were able to find your way into the ice garden?

What a wonderful mission! I was hoping for a Christmas mission this year and it not only happened, it's also the best Christmas mission ever made! Wow. One question. I have finished the 4 deeds but the door of the ice garden hasn't opened. Do I need to do something else?

Thank you, we're very glad you're enjoying the mission! As for the four deeds, can you remember what they were? I just want to be sure you aren't confusing any of them with something else. The four deeds needed are all secrets, not part of the main objectives.

Also, I put spoilers tags on the relevant portion of your last post.

Okay, the fruitcakes and returning Liesl are objectives. You need to find two more good deeds that are not objectives, similar to the stockings and the letter. Let us know if you would like a hint.
