Oh man, the police station, so damn funny, omg, I love it. Using the adult voices from The peanuts, over the PA? Brilliant. That should be used more often, LOL. Lets say, they all had fun.

Finished with all secrets and bonuses (I think) done. All 10 +1 fruitcakes have been sent to the pit of despair too. Just about 150 short on loot.

I think it's well worth another play and this time without knocking out the watch. I would like to have seen the police station become a mad house. Lastly, I want to get all the loot.

Thanks so much for your work Pukey and Tannar. For a super rapid developed FM, it's pretty polished. I did get stuck/blocked time to time from invisible edges, but nothing terrible or annoying. I didn't notice any funny artifacts either, except stuff like tree limbs poking through walls and such.

The ending movie played fine, but the opening one was a little odd. It echoed, as if it was being played through a guitar delay stomp box. Jumped frames too. I'm playing on an old Xeon 2.4 GHz workstation/server with a cheap Nvidea card and Win10 64 Pro. The hardware is probably just not up to snuff. No worries though. It still played the video and it was almost sort of cool with the stuttering echo.

I hope you get back into DromEding more. Always like your stuff. Cheers!

Turn to the right and jump from beam to beam until you reach another window with shutters you can open. It's just two jumps but it can be tricky : )
Thank you! I somehow missed that! Very charming mission!

Congrats on getting all the secrets and the bonus. Strange about the movie, but glad it worked for you, lol. We're very glad you had a good experience and enjoyed the mission! And no worries we both have a mission or two in planning stages.

Tiny Tim isn't at choir practice. Is that a glitch or did he wander off somewhere?

Also, the key to room 6 is being elusive.Hint please!

When you went to the church, did you meet the choir leader and was there a narration. If so, she gave you the key. If you entered the church and never met the choir leader, then something is wrong. Can you confirm?

If that's where I got the key to Tiny Tim's house then yes. I have that key but I'm not sure I know where to use it. Also, there's a room 6 (Griswold) and I can't find a key to that one.

I've been bouncing around playing several different missions and I'm forgetting half the stuff I already found.

No worries, lol. Tim's place is in the same apartment building as Apt. 6 (Griswold). It's on the second floor also. As for Apt. 6, look outside for another way in. Hint: Look up

That was totally worth the aggravation of getting to it. The cat under the chair

I'm off to look for one of the last items. There is one question though about the ice garden. It seems like it might be accessible but I can't find any way into it. There's also a metal door that leads down some brick stairs but I can't find a key or a way in. Maybe I already accessed that spot from a different direction and didn't know it.

For the ice garden, see this post. That metal door can be opened from the other side. You'll need to go for a swim. Glad Apt. 6 was worth it, lol. As for the way in, the path starts back in the candle shop attic. I hope it wasn't too aggravating, lol.

I came here to remind everyone to play Yandros' A Thief's Holiday, but then I was very surprised to see this mission! I'll have to play it after we eat. Thanks Tannar!

Play both versions, and all the other Christmas missions … A great way to hide away from the in-laws.

I don't usually comment on FMs I finish, but I just had to for this one.

Played right after we finished Christmas dinner with my family. This mission joined Tokyo Godfathers as my favourite Christmas themed media. I don't think I know of anything else that can get you in the proper mood for the holidays, this will be a wonderful tradition to replay just before Christmas Eve in the years to come. I love missions that focus more on the adventure elements of Thief. Exploring and finding a hidden nook is cool, but when the only thing you find in there is a piece of loot, I can't help but feel the reward aspect of my hard hunting is a bit lacking. But when you find an item that can be used for an objective tied to a story or a secret - that's so much better. And the mini stories were wonderful, I think this is the first FM I got teared up a bit while playing (very rare for me even outside of FMs). Wonderful personal stories that reminded me a bit of Lady Rowena's signature storytelling style. The atmosphere was amazing - the sounds, music, songs, posters, decorations (even in less immediately noticeable places), references, jokes and secrets - all of them were absolutely impeccable.

The only thing that felt off was Garrett robbing everyone, the mood just wasn't right. I thought you might get to spend the money on something like a donation or just giving them away, it would have been more in the spirit of the FM.

Thank you for the wonderful Christmas present. Its so nice that the Thief community is still going strong and making perhaps it's best output yet, even if the quantity of missions is down compared to the heydays. When we get a new mission I always wonder if this is going to be the last one from the authors, hope we see more from Pukey and Tannar in the future (and in this more adventure driven style).

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and get to enjoy a great New Years Eve as well, taffers!

It's a scene in the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation movie.

Well, I got the star onto the top of the christmas tree.....completed most of the tasks, but the mission ended when I went back to the inn and found my presents!
One of the most enjoyable missions I have ever played!

Oh I feel the same way. Actually I replayed the adventure one day later, this time without picking up any unnecessary items (=loot), hoping for a secret achievement (like in Mission X). Maybe that can be put in a DML or something? Would be great to get a little feedback for that. But at least there is no loot requirement and I still felt good going about that way.

I like your idea of "collecting" for a donation though, channeling Garrett's inner Robin Hood for once
