if you unlocked your framerate then enabling a processing power hungry option like postprocess could affect physics.
I don't know if anyone here has run into a similar issue, but enabling postprocessing seems to have an impact on Garret's movement.
Without postprocessing, I can tap forward at 1 second intervals while crouching and Garret will be completely silent, even on tiled floors. (Called "stutter-stepping" by some. Pretty common tactic for ghost runs) But when I enable postprocessing, that is no longer possible. Footsteps are immediate and Garret bobs up and down even at the slightest button press.
Why is that?

How do I lock my framerate? What's the recommended cap?
if you haven't touched your cam_ext.cfg, your framerate should already be capped at 60, and that's the recommended setting.
forcing some v-sync related settings from your gpu control panel maybe?
I checked it and apparently it was capped at 100. After changing it to 60, the issue still persists.
As for v-sync...I don't even think my PC has it since I don't see an option for it anywhere. these are the only options I have.

Do I maybe need to change something in the cam_ext.cfg? Idk...I'm admittedly very technologically illiterate so trying to get this to work has been nothing short of confusing.
welp, when in doubt, create a new fresh T2 install and patch it up with the latest T2Fix, see whether it does the same thing?
