The good:
-They were free for existing owners on Steam + GOG.
-X-ray engine updated to DX12 + added multi-core support.
-Added controller support
-Added achievements
The bad:
-Hack job censorship of anything Russian language + Soviet era iconography. They didn't even put in any effort to replace the deleted stuff.
-Bugs fixed by mods a zillion years ago by modders are still present.
Neutral:
-AI upscaling of assets.
Honestly, I was pretty excited for this but it was quite disappointing as they are essentially the ps5 version ported for pc, the only plus is it has gamepad support. But if you are playing Stalker with a gamepad/controller you are dead to me son.
Also for some odd reason you can't cook grenades or bolts anymore, and they removed movement bob so you are just a floating head screaming across the tundra.
