Couldn't remember if we'd done a favourite weapon thread.
Mine has to be the flamethrower. You sneak to the doorway of a room full of troops, make a little sound. Out they all run and you toast 'em.
I've done most of the game using this fine weapon. It involves being sneaky to get close enough of course....

To answer your Topic question: Yes
Throwing Knives.
It may be a melee weapon. But it is REALLY fun to brutally club guards to death with the crowbar. Its just so brutal and immobile. Its great.

Well, I do, but I don't. You see, it's nice to see a flame war over some pertinent material, but when it's really unnecessary, then I can't stand flamethrowers. So it's kind of like a Daikatana for me, because I like both edges of the sword.
I bet this gets me flamed. Holding breath and hoping I can make it to the surface before the sharks get me.

Flamethrower is good against enemies, as you watch them running with flame, but it is too heavy to equip, you hardly move a step, but it is light to carry??!!!
It's a "heavy" weapon, like the GEP gun... get heavy weapons (or whatever that skill name is) built up and you can run with it.
