    Tower of Illusion

I'm stuck on Tower of Illusion. I have just dropped into the "chapel" in the the centre, dealt with the "priest" and nabbed his key which opens a wooden door with nothing in. There are loads of locked doors but no key opens them. Any suggestions????

I vaguely remember this mission, but I think you can rope arrow up the way you came in.

I didn't explain myself properly. I'm not actually stuck in the chapel, all the exit doors are open, I just don't know what to do next.

You didn't really say what else you HAVE done, though, so it's hard to know what to tell you. Have you been down in the crypt? There's a key down there that opens a door at the back of the chapel. There's a bit of loot in there. Do you have your missing lockpick? If so, you need to explore upstairs. Let me know what exactly you've done, if you need more specific help. Post it here or e-mail me, whichever you prefer.

OK here goes. I have located 3 keys and have just dropped into the chapel. I only have the one lock pick. I can only open one door which eventually leads to the chapel. I have knocked out all the guards I can see and taken their keys. Thanks Nightwalker.

I think your problem is probably the missing lockpick. It's down in the area around the kitchen, in a room beside it actually. I think it's a forge or something. The lockpick should be in a chest, but I think it's sometimes on the floor beside it and very hard to see.

Sorry about the resurrection, but I finished the Tower of Illusion just now...for the very first time! It was surprisingly fun for such an old mission!

Though i'd save threads by adding onto this one.

I'm I mad but where do I find the copper key, no one is left concious around here (or at least everyone I can get to) I have a pile of bodies, checked everyone for a key and can't find it.

    What am I missing here?

    Thanks

Ah I found it before you replied. It was the chapel bit which I had missed. It was kind of obvious that the room was more than it seemed upstairs.

It seems I am the only person who is stuck at the very beginning of this mission. I have jumped in the pool of water and landed in the room with black floor, gone up the spiral stairs and jumped over the chasm that says "Only a priest can pass unharmed" or something like that. Now I am in a room that appears to be under another staircase, with nowhere else to go. I can hear footsteps from above.
    What am I missing?

I don't know why that room is there. If there's a way forward from it, I've never found it but don't worry. You just need to walk back to the doorway and drop down into the starry blackness. You won't fall. There must be an invisible walkway. Walk underneath the room you were just in and continue on to the next doorway..

Thanks Nightwalker. How was I supposed to know I had to jump into darkness? I already agree with Komag's review...

This thread isn't the only thing that's been resurrected! Man, Tower of Illusion, it's been a LONG time!
