After the party - what now?

OK I have something like 1035 loot.
Every guard and guest has been knocked out and searched.
I have unlocked everything EXCEPT the double metal doors in the hall. I have tried every one of my many keys and lockpicks but to no avail.

    Any ideas?

I've got a loot list. I'll send it to you in a PM so you can see what you're missing.

Oh, yes, it's very possible. I've finished it a couple of times so far. If you'd like a copy of the loot list, let me know. All you have to do is find ALL of the available loot and get back to where you started to complete the mission.

If you still end up short after your replay, let me know what you're having trouble finding and I'll give you more details about exactly where it is.

    Nightwalker thanks for the help.

It was a really annoying problem and I think the others might have the same one:

I was going round the level frustated, picking up everything, searching the bodies etc, and just randomly frobbing around when I frobbed the one of the chairs downstairs and picked up a ring/necklace from what i remember.

I never saw it before that and it was impossible to spot unless by accident, maybe it fell down the back of the lining

The ring was actually sitting on the floor behind the chair. If you'd gone around and looked behind it, you could have seen it.

Well, it's replay time. Not because of the very high quality or unforgottable story, but because of the classic, easy, effortless feel of Thief 2 fan missions' early heyday. Can you believe that more than 20 years passed since the last message of this thread? I can hardly do.

I'm getting old because I totally thought that this was a new thread for an old mission.

I just downloaded the mission from thiefmissions again. I forgot how tight the space is in the very beginning of this mission and that it triggers my anxiety, which means it's fun.

Also, I've been registered on TTLG for 20 years this August. Time to replay a bunch of old FM's.

I was thinking something similar. The time between 24th Aug 2002 and 30th Aug 2022 looked like 6 days to my eyes. And besides I’d just been reading about Nightwalker’s August birthday and there are her posts of only a few days ago. My mistake, that was 20 years ago.

Well I’ve downloaded the mission but it looks like it’s challenging right from the start.

Kids these days don't know what thread necromancy is ... Why back in my day you'd dredge up a thread from the early days and it was only a year or two old and you'd get flamed.

Having told myself this mission is too difficult (I’ve just bought a new laptop and the keyboard needs some getting used to for playing Thief and I kept getting killed) I completed it, so I'm now feeling smug. Thank you all for bringing up an old thread and thanks to the author, ChangelingJane.

Aye, “But you try and tell that to the young people of today.”
    Cue The Four Yorkshiremen.
