Thanks for the tip Nightwalker, but

    spoiler:
I have that key, where exactly is the key hole? I know what room the haunt patrols in front of(has an opening to the "big" room off it), that's where I am now, just couldn't find anything in there to frob, pick, etc..
    The problem is choice...

    Sap'em -
    spoiler:
When you got the key, you found your way there by climbing a ladder to a platform and walking across to a set of spiral stairs. When you're on that platform, instead of going across the little "bridge" and up the stairs, walk over to the north side of the platform and jump over to the hole in the wall (it's sort of like a big window). The door with the keyhole is in there.

Done and only 100g. short of the total available loot! Thank you very much, Sam2=Sam, for a extemely enjoyable mission. I had a wonderful time playing it and I would highly recommend it for those of you who haven't had a look at it yet.

    Unbelievable!

I actually went behind that dais in the coffin room to see if there was anything back there but saw nothing!!! I can't believe I missed that.

Well at least I can be happy in the knowledge that I found the item, the exit and the loot required to complete serious objective before Nightwalker and apparently everyone else did! Damn sword if it wasn't for that I'd have been the first here to finish it on serious. Ah well!

    Hmm...

Yes...The giant room is a bit difficult. There are six or seven goldnuggets on the second shelf. You can climb it with rope arrows, but the way back is impossible...So this is a trap! (And there are two goldvases on the shelf what is over the table.)
This is my first FM, and I learned a lot when a made this mission...My next mission will be more complicate.

Today I'm start the making of my next FM. It's name will be: Prison of the Destiny (Thief 1/Gold)

Just curious...when I grabbed the sword, even though I had about 3200 loot, my 2500 loot objective unchecked...has anyone else had this problem?

    It's not impossible Sam,

I got all of the loot in that giant room without losing one health point and was able to retrieve all the arrows to boot! True, it took quite a while but I did it.

Yes, I managed to get the loot in that room and get back down with all my hit points but it took a lot of reloads! It is possible, though, with perseverance.

Yes Travis I noticed the same thing. I got the sword early in the game and noticed that my loot count all went to 0's and thought I would have to start over. But when I grab some more loot my counts came back.

Other that! I found this to be a very interesting and entertaining FM.

    Is the sword a bug?

-Hm...Intresting. So, if you take the sword, your loot set to zero?...This is terrible...

-Could you do the giant room?...My God! These taffers are the masters...I couldn't do it...but I made the mission... Good.

Hmm. I played my FM yesterday again and I found some small bugs in it. Very small bugs but I think if I fix them, the mission will be more enjoyable...
So, my question is: Would you like a version 1.7?

I'd love it if you'd fix those things. That sword bug keeps you from being able to complete on expert if you didn't find it early on!

As I said in an earlier post on this thread this mission is fun and atmospheric. The one big thing I wish you'd reconsider fixing is not having the diary, books and signs and stuff in English. Without that we never got the story. I kept wondering who could've built this weird place and how? It didn't make sense to me where exactly I was since the architecture of different areas didn't seem to fit together. Plus you had undead but you also had this suggestion of tiny people and giants. Do they live together in harmony or did they somehow get the undead to protect their treasures or what? Without that stuff being clear, the giant room seemed totally out of place in this mission unlike the area in The Sword (which judging by this mission must have been one of your favorites) where you knew why it was there and it made complete sense for it to be there. Hopefully some of those answers were in the texts which were in Hungarian (which by the way is my family's heritage on my mother's side but unfortunately I can't read it).

The Item Version 1.7 (ENG) is on the way!

I begun to make a patch 1.7 (ENG) for my first FM (The Item)

    - I try to translate the texts...But I can't speak English very well. I translate them, next I send the text files to NightWalker and she fix the English texts better. Then she send me back them, and I put them into the new version,
    - I will fix the music of the level. I think it is a bit strange...
    - The story is connect to my Hungarian Thief book what I write...so I translate the story text but I don't know, will you understand the whole story...

Stay in the dark site, taffer...

The Sword is not a bug with the loot total. If you scroll through your inventory, you'll find that the sword has it's own loot total, of "0", but your other loot total still exists separately, which is why it seems to come back when you pick something else up. It just pops up in your inventory, but it was still there all along.

I'd be pleased to help you with the texts, Sam2 = Sam. Just send the stuff to me when you're ready.

I might be able to help out with the translation. I became conversational in Hungarian when I lived there (Tatan laktam egy eve). But I haven't used the language in over eight years, so I'm very rusty. Let me know, though, if I can be of some assistance.

    Sok szerencset!

That's true about 2 separate loot totals NW,

However, even though my loot total was over 3000 after I picked up the sword (which was the last thing I found) the box for the loot objective unchecked itself and when I got to the exit it wouldn't give me the mission complete screen. Trust me. That sword's definitely a bug causer if you pick it up too late in the game. Glad to hear you'll be helping w/ translation! I'm anxious to read what I missed.

I don't actually speak any other languages, so I won't be translating. I've been asked before to just read over the already translated texts and make them a little easier to understand. I did it for Lord Alan's Basement, T2 version, and for Bukary's OCOD. I wouldn't have noticed that the loot total actually unticked because I hadn't completed it when I found the sword. I'm really looking forward to reading the notes, etc. from this mission, too.

    Thank you!

Hm...This job is bigger than I imagined...I haven't got much time now too...But...I have a question to dullcare.

Can you help me in the translating? I heard about your Hungarian abilities...)

So. If I send you the biggest text (The Diary), will you translate it?

    If yes, -> Sok szerencsét!

It's not all that important, Sam. The mission is lots of fun even without being able to read the texts. Maybe somtime when you're not so busy, you'll have time to translate it.

I guess this is how they make more zombies...

Okay...I've got the magic item, I've got the sword, and I've got the loot.

Where in blue blazes is the exit? I've been everywhere--I even climbed up on door frames.

    Anybody?

First, this FM is GREAT!! Too bad Sam2=Sam won't be doing it in English. But anyways, I am stuck. I'm in the room with the
    spoiler:
Fire elemental and what looks like a throne (?) with two rocks on it. Killed the elemental. What now??

    Thanks,

Problem is, there's only one place I can think of,
    spoiler:
it's the pressure plate that shoots arrows at you.
Not the kind of place I'd want to put a rock.

The pressure plate is in a room
    spoiler:
at the end of a hallway patrolled by a haunt. I think you get to it by going through the maze to a green, open type space and across it to the other side.
