Public service announcement. I'd really rather not have this community stagnate too quickly because it's become nothing but a bitch-fest. There are PM folders, there's Email, hell, at this point, I'd be in favor of some good old fashion "U R DUMMM" in the IRC channel. moderate amounts of "Lurox is Phaethorn's meat-thermometer" is fine, but for fucks sake, how are new members supposed to come in here and feel welcome with all the dramamamamamamamamamama?
so let's take a breather and realize that deep down the bitterness you feel towards other players is no where near as pinching as the feeling you get when you watched the last britttttttney spears video. I think I've never flamed anyone on this discussion-board ever... (If someone recalls that I've done so, show me the posts). It's not that hard actually, cause I almost never do so in real life either. I just keep it for myself, screams it out when I know the person I'm mad at can't hear me, or discuss it with others in privat.
It seems like a lot of people have a huge ego when it comes to discussion-boards, IRC or any other places on the Internet where they can talk to others. A lot of 'em got great thoughts about themselves, and think they never do/say anything wrong. They start to flame people, cause they've got an other opinion than themselves?! And this is not right, cause afterall it's called a discussion-board.

Right first things first, I've apologised to Phae for argue-ing with him (I have yet to receive a reply). I would do a group apology like Garlisk did, but then people would think I'm just copying him and not being sincere in my apology.
Now here is the bit that a lot of people are miscomprehending:
I was honestly was trying to talk ABOUT flaming, it just seems that there a few peeps here & there that don't like me and so seized the opportunity to say "Look, Dan is trying to get everyone to flame eachother with no particular reason, die die die!" & THATS NOT WHAT IM TRYING TO ACHIEVE.
Since the only person who seems to have been severely flamed recently in this threads is me, it seems that no serious damage was done (if anyone other than me was flamed, then I apology sincerely).
Anything else? Oh yes, did anyone but me see the logic in putting all flaming in one thread (as opposed to spreading throughout every other thread)?
So thats all I can manage to say on the topic. I think regardless of whether I flame or not, I'm gonna get accused of some pretty nasty stuff over the next few days.
This has gone to a ridiculous point.
Tankazz, on his last post, had to STATE that he didn't want to start a flame war.
Come on, the devs probably didn't make this mod to start flames with it.

I would also like to state for the record, that if you or anyone else DOESN'T believe that this forum is overrun with stupid flaming, I can easily just close every thread that has flames in it, and we can all see how much discussion is really going on.

I think you took what I said the wrong way twark, it was not meant to be sarcastic, more an opinion on the state of affairs at the time from the view of a noob.
