    T2 FM: Emilie Victor (May 21, 2003)

Gaėtane's new T2 mission, Emilie Victor, which I believe is a sequel to L'Arsene, is ready and being released! It is already available on MIRC at #thief-fms and should be available here soon. There will also probably be another spot or two to download it from. They'll be posted in this thread when available.

    Additional download links:
    http://thiefmissions.com/m/EmilieVictor
    http://thief-thecircle.com/missions/
    http://www.keepofmetalandgold.com/fmarchive.htm
    http://darklurker.org/T2_DarkOrg.html

It's in French, so here's the objectives for Expert, in English:

    1) Grab 2200 in loot.
    2) Find a gear.
    3) Once you're done, get out of here through the front door.
    4) Steal the key DeLoret has on him.
    5) Find DeLoret's agenda, you'll learn more about this case.
    6) You do like to know who hires you, try to meet Emilie Victor.
    7) Get and destroy DeLoret's real estate bond notes in order to bankrupt him.

    Thank you, Gaėtane!

Try the other parts of gaetane's L'Arsene Series. Head to the threads for:
    Part 1 - L'Arsene
Part 2 - Emilie Victor -- currently viewing
Part 3 - The Korrigans / The Goblins
    Part 4 - The Den

I have been everywhere and completed the first 2 objectives on hard but I don't know what to do next. I am missing a key to the door on the second floor which is located down a long, narrow hallway? Any hints?

    spoiler:
If it is a glazed door, it will be later open.

If it is the door which is on the floor the key is before the church.

When you get to Yahoo groups, you have to register, confirm your registration with an email you receive almost immediately after registering, then go back to the linked page and click on the "Join this group" button. You'll go to a page where you will see the mission to download. It's all free and quite easy. I just did it, so I know!

    Thank you Nightwalker!

    deadman
I'd really like to do it......unfortunately all this stuff is Greek to me....
I don't have a web page, I never used ICQ, or a FTP program. I'm completely ignorant about all these things, I don't even know how to begin. I addition there is the difficulty of the language.....
I myself will soon have the problem with my own mission which is in betatesting right now.

Can I find detailed instructions somewhere?

PS- Anyway I have only a 56K connection.

    No, I am still lost!

Here is the thing I knocked out everyone I could find but I am still at the main house. I don't have the key for this gate outside where I can see there is more of an area, also on the second floor of the house I begin with is a narrow hallway at the end of which is also a single door for which I don't have a key. I only have th first two objectives competed. The next one says exist through the main doors I am assuming it is referring to the big doors of the house you start I knocked out the guard patrolling outside long ago and there is nothing new there. What should be my next step and where is this person with the belt I am supposed to get the key from as the objective states?

I was sent this as a possible answer to your question about why you couldn't download the mission from Yahoo Groups tonight:

Yahoo restricts downloads per day, I believe, and since this is a
small group, being new and all, it is probably more limited compared
to larger groups. Instead of explaining this when you click on the
link, like it should, you get a page similiar to the one described.
You should just try again tomorrow.

If I remember well, gear has the same meaning as equipment in some cases ?

    Sorry about this confusion....

Try to meet Emilie Victor first, you won't be able to open the safe before meeting her.
It's useless to kill the guy behind the bars, let him suffer in his cage. He's a bastard, his name is Maurice...

    spoiler:
Have you found DeLoret's agenda ?, it's somewhere in his office. Well hidden.

    Dewdrop :

    spoiler:
You have to use her somewhere.

    spoiler:
For the man with the hammer (Maurice), it is necessary to go to see Mr. Plonk (the equipped skeleton)

    spoiler:
For the cemetery, it is necessary to go in the room with the boards
out of wooden on the floor of the house.

I'm at the same stage as poison_the_well . I've found the agenda ok and I know I have to lay something at the foot of that tombstone , however a way into the boarded room eludes me . It also sounds like I need to find Mr plonk - I hear chains and weird noises , but no Mr. plonk .

Use Dewdrop as a key somewhere...

    There's a tomb you can read "Veux-tu jouer ?"
    spoiler:
Want to play with me ?

    Hint : avoid blackjacking everybody...

Exit through the main door of the manor after you've completed all your objectives...

    Another hint :
    spoiler:
Do not throw your pc against the wall ...

I am still having problems, I only completed the first 2 objectives and don't know what to do next. I replayed the whole mission withtout blackjacking majority of people. The only ones knocked out are the two guards at the straircases downstairs and the two patrolling in a circle downstairs. I cannot find DeLoret and His key, and I basically don't know what to do next. I am still at the main house and I have no idea how to get into other areas.
