T2 FM - Jenivere De Ja Vu May 26/03

This is my first fan mission for Thief 2. You can get it at http://www.thiefmissions.com/m/jenivere

Thanks to Silent_Warrior for helping me betatest it and for giving me some pointers.

It's not perfect but hopefully it is fun. If you have any comments or need help then post a message here.

    Thanks!!

    Looks like a pretty FM.

But your screenshots are a little too dark.

The screenshots look beautiful! Just downloaded it, though it may be a few days before I have time to actually play it. Thanks!

Help, please. I'm stuck with a ton of metal doors I can't unlock. The only key I've found so far only opens a room with a lever to open a gate I can open from ground level on the other side, anyway. Where are the other keys?

Great! Congratulations on your first mission! I've just downloaded it, and you can count on me playing it in the near future.

Thanks for your efforts, and hopefully you're already thinking about building another one

First I want to thank everyone for their nice comments. With everything that I have learned from making my first mission I shall soon be ready to make my next FM.

This isn't exactly a spoiler, but if you need a key then it will be located in the same building that it is used in. Many of the locked doors can be picked open. Some were not meant to be opened.

    spoiler:
There is a note in Lt. Moseley's office which has a clue as to where the master key is. Take it literally. Also the journal in her office has a similar clue.

    Thanks!!

Ok I increased the brightness on the screenshots to make them easier to see. I always found it easier to play thief in a dark room.

PTW: As usual, I figured it out before anyone had a chance to respond (I gotta be more patient before asking for help) but thank you just the same. Now I just have to find

    Lt. Mosley's key

If anyone found the master key please let me know where. I am sick and tired of looking for it, I am a thief not a floor mop. *Goes off to Play Burricks Head v2*

    The Master Key is in
    spoiler:
the conference room upstairs, it is wedged inbetween the table as far as i can make out, so just frob away until you have it

I didn't find any use for the cuckoo. Tell me if you do.

While this was a difficult mission figuring out stuff it was quite enjoyable once you got it sussed. Good mission though next time a bit clues as to what to do.

    spoiler:
In Lt. Moseley's office there are two clues that tell you where the key is. Lt. Moseley is the right-hand person to Sheriff Truart. In the conference room you would expect Sheriff Truart to sit at one end of the table. Lt. Moseley sits on Truart's right hand side. The master key is located in the paper tray at Lt. Moseley's place at the table.

    Hope this helps.

I guess I should not put objects in that are not used, especially an object that had a use in an OM. Sorry about that.

There is no use for the cuckoo.

I would like to know if anyone has found all of the loot.

This is a good first effort, but it isn't clear enough on how to achieve objectives. Did you use beta testers?

Well, I don't know how you all did it, but I'm still stuck in the first area.
I managed to lore all guards into my trap and gave them a nice solid blackout but I can't find any keys to what-so-ever!
I don't have a rope arrow, so I can't mantle up to roofs a.s.o. I can't find a key for the metal door on the first floor of a building, where there's a crib and two beds.
I searched everywhere. The gates are closed ...........so.......what's next?

    Gloria Creep

    ( I'm sooooooooooooooo stupid!!! ..........)

BTW: Great mission .............I think! !!!
