    spoiler:
Rowena comes alive, duh, she doesn't die. She obviously comes alive when you get to the bottem of the well. When though? Is it when you touch the bottem of the well she comes alive, or is it when you get close to her sitting corpse? Or is it when I steal her key thats next to her bones?

Edit: I only want to know because I get scared at these things easily!!

Its not the story I care about, she comes alive I know that. I want to know when to expect her bones coming to life so I don't die of heart faliure!

Ok, got past that. I can't find the water key. From the scroll I think it's
    spoiler:
in the blue bedroom, but can't find the switch.

    Haunt-of-DOOM,
    spoiler:
inspect the door frames in the blue room.

I'm at the same spot as rb47 now... haven't yet figured out how to open that last gate.

Thats impossible! I.E. No gas arrows and the helmet guards can't be got with a BJ and you say you knocked out EVERY guard?

    List of Equipt I've Found:

    about 30 broadheads
    3 frogbeast eggs
    7 moss arrows
    1 flashbomb
    a healing potion
    food for healing
    BJ
    lockpix
and a compass (which wasn't very useful).

For all the guards that wasn't much. I got by using the 'thru the door' BJ thing. I got about 80% of all the guards in the mission right there. The only ones I didn't get were the ones in the mansion, and about 3 or 4 outside.

Every guard can be knocked out. The eight in the front yard, three on patrol, one at the cemetary, two on the steps, and two at the front gate are the hardest to get by ghosting.

Judicious use of water arrows can take care of that. Although it can be done without putting the torches out.

So yes every guard CAN BE BJ'd.

When I tested there was a sneaky thing you could do with it. But
    spoiler:
it is merely decoration. Dump it.

Need help. I have a key called White room key but I don't know where to you use it. I only have the first objective competed and have no other keys to open any of the doors.

You could try snapping your fingers, or maybe telling her to drop dead? Seriously have you been paying attention to the story at all? You do remember that you have a holy sword right?

What do you have in your inventory that might aid you against a demon? Kill as many of HER as you can. Take a good look. How many Hers do you see, and how many SHADOWS of her?

Must be a change in the released version. I did BJ every guard in my testing.

    I used the
    spoiler:
frog beasts on those two guards. They died but did not count against me.

I KO nearly every guard in the mansion and outside, then later found the
    spoiler:
cache of moss arrows in Barker's room.
I ended up never using them.

For those of you in combat with Rowena,
    spoiler:
look around the room for something or things that are not obvoious

I've done everything except for the loot requirement. I'm at about 7800.

Just finished. (expert) WOW!! 60 KO's and only one body discovered by enemies. Arrgh I hate it when that happens. Did anybody else find an extra objective to tick off? I won't say what it was but I got a real kick out of it and the reward came in handy.
This is about as good as it gets when it comes to Thief. Thanks Lady Rowena.

ive got the "error" of broadhead-arrows keeping stick in the air after use. i always re-collected them and had 37 broadhead left when i met this special lady. so i loaded her from above and then i took only 2 or 3 strikes with the holy sword to finish her forever.
Just wondered nobody else got this behaviour...

Boardhead arrows work on Rowena? But after reading all those books i was under the impression that only the Holy Sword could kill her, because she was unholy, but arrows work? OK i can accept that.

I assume the Holy Sword is available on all levels so for people still looking for it, you will find it eventually.

To answer your questions in reverse order: Yes on all levels.

Arrows do not kill, merely slow down. Think ZOMBIE.
