Nice mission, looks almost like that orher mission for t2 the restored cathedral with few changes of course, finished with 4480 out of 5027, scratching my head as where the last bit of loot is hiding, oh well. like the addition of map/automap. great job on that part. you missed a couple of spot that you prolly shoulda changed texture was off, made me think hmm must be a false wall, but no switch, lol.

    question:
    spoiler:
one of the books in the town refers to a statue in the cathedral that will melt, is that the one where the altar use to be or is it another one somewhere, i want to see if it will melt. lol

wild_inferno9, I'll PM you with the answers to your questions, but please use the spoiler tags to hide info that people are meant to discover while they play the mission.

He he, I'm glad you all like it.

This is of course the second mission in the 'restoring the cathedral' series.
The first mission (the restored cathedral) was for Thief Gold, and this mission was going to be called 'mechanist cathedral' but I like the final name better.

Restoring the cathedral - Before And After

If you have never played Thief 1, you might want to check out these Before And After screenshots of the first FM in the series (released late last year):

    St.Yora's - Before And After
St.Yora's is the name of one of the buildings that you visit. It was named in honour of one of the Hammerite Saints, whose skull was on display in the Thief 1 OM 'undercover'.

I love those "Before and After" pics, Zaccheus. It really shows what a great job you've done, in both your FMs, of restoring the Cathedral. This newest one is a wonderful mission and the added town is fun to explore. I've played it a number of times and enjoyed it each time.

I finished it in about 1.5 hours and came short about $300 loot. I guess I'll have to get back in there and keep looking.

    Very interesting mission though.

John D. hurls another unconcious Mechanist off the railing to plummet to their death on the cathedral floor below..

    Hee Hee.. that was fun!

I enjoyed the mission a lot!
The Hammers can re-occupy the temple now,
    I cleaned it out!

Enjoyable mission Zaccheus and the town area was a nice touch. However, I'm now going round in circles.
    spoiler:
I can't find the key to open the door behind the curtain in the library. Everybody is now taking a nap and I re-checked the hammerites for a key but no luck. My only conciliation to feeling totally inferior is I didn't have any loot worries - 4665 and still counting!

I am playing on Hard mode. I have over 4900 loot, but have not yet found the skull. How do I get into the area that runs outside the west wall of St. Yora's?
