I hear Channel 4 are doing an hour long special of that.
Black humor. The comment was a joke, but if you can put some little kids somewhere, give them a good reason to die, and then kill them in a hilarious manner, I wouldn't mind.Originally posted by Always_Black

Hey, that's alright. It's just that 'why' is a very important question when you're playing Cassandra.Black humor.
what made me like emily were too things, i liked how the first drawer was so well organised, and you didnt need the description to see that.
Also, i liked the photo in her second drawer, i thought it fleshed out her background more, showed she has (or at least had at some point) more personality than she herself displayed.
He is very right there. I like the fact that I found a loop-hole into not dying from killing good guys.Originally posted by JudicatorDex

I slaughtered the entire Cassandra Project HQ, starting with that horny bastard of a guard!
I was just wondering if it'll f*** up my save in part two, because I did make a backup right before going on my rampage
Care to elaborate on this? Clearly, it's a fuck up of astronomical proportions.I slaughtered the entire Cassandra Project HQ, starting with that horny bastard of a guard!

(Though there *are* people who you're allowed to kill within the context of the first mission, if you're willing to take the consequences...)

Emily's my favourite character in Cassandra, if only because she's going to the most interesting places. The whole first episode's packed full of references to what's really going on with her, but it shouldn't become clear for some time yet.Originally posted by Nervie

Damnit, no more spoiling KG. No fun. I know you're dying to tell us about the Emily-Jo lesbian porn scene but please - it's more fun finding it ourselves.
It's funny how much of the things said in jest on the forum are actually true. Not all, clearly but...Originally posted by Subjective Effect

Random question for the floor: Has anyone discovered which member of Cassandra is Bi yet?
Oh - and the guy who found the loophole and killed the project upthread... it isn't you turning on God Mode or something like that, is it? Because - y'know - that's not a loop hole. Thats' *cheating*.
KG
Oh yes, on the go with Debbie H *and* Jack H.Originally posted by Brem_X_Jones

Nope, no god mode for me, but looking further into it I found that anyone who would actually continue the game after killing anyone would be insane. Only because I haven't found a way to get rid of the red screen flash without disabling screen flashes all-together. She also screams in pain until you leave the area you're in. After leaving HQ, she stopped screaming and the red went away, but then I killed Casino and the secretary (I STILL got screamed at by the dead boss) and the crap came back. I tried it without killing Casino, but then after going back to the base the red and screaming came back. SO... this means that it WILL f*** your save if you continue with killing anyone.... WHEW....
Oh, and I don't feel like revealing my secret just because I'd like to randomly go on rampages against good guys in the future.
Will your spoiling never end?
Warning Mr G - you will spoil your own creation. Allow us to find these things fresh. We will praise you all the more for it.
OR - be like an American film trailer and ruin it all.
You are in a thread called "Spoilers", Subjective.

Maybe in future missions we'll find knights, bishops, rooks, kings and queens?

There seems to be a mysterious 'robot' who has no weapon beyond the second 'prawn.' Perhaps this robot is the one responsible for the prawnage.
btw, KG - check your private messages
Did someone accidently (or deliberately) switch on icon visibilty when editing? I remember when I was fiddling around with light properties and produced some very odd effects using the editor's own symbols.
We know the reason for it, but aren't revealing it.
Feel free to discuss it, of course. That's what the thread's for.

I know. But there are spoilers and there are spoilers. You already know it all, you're not finding it out through play. Leave us some easter eggs, pretty please. You are in a thread called "Spoilers", Subjective.
Now - the UNATCO consoles: is this design overlook or are the username-passwords DX related? I tried the NSF code from Mission 1. No effect. Anyone?
Played it, want more. *drool*
I love the characters. Every single one of them is a a total freak in some way or other, but that makes them only more recognisable and... well, even as exaggerated as it is, believable, with the nice little quirks. The voice acting is real nice - better than in quite a number of commercial games I've played actually and the voices themselves fit well.
My only beef against it is that most conversations only have the first couple of sentences voiceovered. Somewhat... odd if you're used to DX's full voiceovers. Might it be possible to, like, have a voiceover add-on pack for people with the time, bandwidth and/or patience to download it which would "plug in" to an existing Cassandra installation and add the missing VOs? Pretty please, with inch-thick sugar coating? =)
Oh yes, I nearly forgot, "...shouting all guards are bastards"
A deliberate Pratchet-ism I assume, very nice.
Oh I didn't get that reference. But of course, Stuart must be a fan of Pratchet.

The reference i was talking about is from the first Discworld book, "The Colour of Magic"
'No,' said Rincewind. 'Not precisely. Let's ust say that if complete and utter chaos was lightening, then he'd be the sort to stand on a hilltop in a thunder storm wearing wet copper armour and shouting ''All gods are bastards''.
The motif comes up a bit later again, but this time its
"You-little (such a one who, while wearing a copper nose ring, stands in a footbath atop mount Raruaruaha duringa heavy thunderstorm and shouts that Alohura, Goddes of Lightning, has the facial features of a diseased uloruha root)!"
Yes, I do have too much time on my hands today, but too much jagermeister was drunk last night, so I sit, and go, oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
"Why not have him rape some puppies while you're at it. That'd certainly be a
new direction."
Again: "OHFUCKINGCOCKCHRIST!"
I love Stuart.
I wanna reply to my pistol problem!!!
The weapons are nice though, I haven't seen such a selection for some time. BTW, has anyone here played Deus Ex ZODIAC installment 2 yet? (pleaes don't kill me for advertising another mod)
Havent had chance to download it yet. Need to abuse the work broadband. And dont worry about mentioning Zodiac round here. We've all pledged our first born to the mighty Tack.
