Help with fireshadow's barrow

i looked at other posts, but they seem to have more to do with posts...so, help please with something i could not find, and really probably pretty dumb

i am at the very beginning and can not get

out of the spider tunnel after getting the crowbar....i have stacked all of the stone chairs...but it just sticks and i can not get back into the higher tunnel to go bust the door in!!!

i think i will take a shower and calm myself!!!

It has been a while since I've played this one, but I think that there is

spoiler:
only one spider tunnel, which has two exits. When you leave the crypt where you got the crowbar, there is a turnoff to the left which doesn't look like it goes anywhere but it leads to the hole in the ceiling. You can drop down out of that hole to the main area. If you miss that turn and continue straight, then there is the area with the spider. Past the spider the tunnel continues and that leads back to the crypts, exiting at floor level instead of the ceiling.

spoiler:
If you succeed in getting up into the ceiling tunnel, it only leads back to where you have been.

hmmmmmmmm......wonder how long i would have kept trying to stack those silly chairs... it was so obvious once you said it!!!! my taffin' needs a tune-up

i have had the doors spinning and not spinning....if they open without spinnin, the middle door does not seem to open high enough to get through....i am leaning in and i believe there is no chance it is hitting me. but either way it is not wide enough for me to get through...is there a "shrinking" potion? i have read the other posts of peoples' frustration with this very beginning of the mission....and i am getting a pretty good taste of how they feel....i have tried so many combinations....but it seems that a door open should mean i CAN GO THROUGH it!!!

Try frobbing and then backing away.

Does the middle door come to rest on the ceiling (like it should)? Have you tried crouching? Are you sure it isn't hitting you?

no, it never hit me....it was facing away from me....it was very bizarre. anyway, i finally got it to work after restarting the game several times....starting from a saved spot did not work. anyway, i think i spent 6x as much time trying to GET through the doors than i did actually playing the game, which was too bad cuz it had good atmosphere and it i was ready to immerse myself.......ah well

It's strange, none of my betatesters ever found that problem.

At some point the doors are teleported though. It could be that they teleport in backwards... I really should fix that.

hey yametha, i was never able to get thru those doors either

not to sound harsh bc the stone doors do look coool, but maybe get rid of the 3 and just make it two big stone doors that open normally when you undo it with the crowbar?

Well, I fixed it. I'll get it uploaded as soon as possible.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I found another way of fixing it. I think it looks just as good as the first way.

Hey Yametha where can I find the fix for those spinning doors? It looks like a fun mission but can't get past those doors. I tried standing way back and leaning but it didn't help.

I think I screwed up and never updated your mission, Yametha. There's often quite a bit going on and I get confused easily.

I seem to be the only one dorky enough to be missing loot, on expert. I've completed everything else, done everything I can think of, but when I go through the portal the mission ends with the skull and bones because I'm missing 400 loot. Whoof.

I've been in every cell, found the gold nugget, took all the gold scrapings. What on earth is left?
