Lord Ashton Part 8 ready for download

    Hey ya all !

Christine has released her 8th mission of the Lord Ashton Series, she has uploaded
    it to:

    http://wave.prohosting.com/zinkchr/Hochzeit.zip

We' re not sure about how stable this account is, but lets hope for the best.

(I have also uploaded it to an account of mine that's not being used at the time until now I guess *G*

http://home.arcor.de/oskarschwermer/Hochzeit.zip; Note: gone for this month! )

If I recall correctly there's a bandwith quota of 1 gig / month on it, so it'll fit about 90 times.

I wish all of you lots of fun with this beauty of a mission, it's every inch what we are used to see from Christine, taff on

PS: Thief is alive and kicking !

Hrothgar now goes running for shelter till the storm is over

Hmmm... it's not from here, definitely works... anyone else getting trouble?

I also had trouble with the first link. Darkloader said that it was an invalid .zip file.

The other sight seems to work alright and I have had no problems with the game so far.

Yet again Christine's mission looks great

I've just downloaded the zip using the first link and checked it in Darkloader. Works fine for me, but I won't be playing it just yet. I've only played up to part 6, so I have a little catching up to do.

Thank's for the link, and congrat's to Christine for finishing another FM. I look forward to playing 7 & 8 back to back sometime soon.

Thank you, Christine! I thought the mission wasn't translated yet? I was very surprised and happy to see the announcement of it's release. I've downloaded it and started. It's beautiful, as usual, and I'm having a great time exploring.

okay...I guess I'll have the honors of being the first to cave in and ask for help...

Anyone find Dentons special weapon? ...more specifically the armoury where it's probably stored? Is it a door I missed, or sneakier than that?

Edit: BTW, it is a pretty FM, Christine...& I've never eaten so many doughtnuts before!

I'd DL'd it a few hours ago and it seemed to go fine. I have yet to fire it up though. Thanks Christine, I'm sure it will be fun. I'm in the middle of beta testing and creating my own small mission so it might be a while before I can get to it. But I will.

Ignore my last post on where the special weapon is...I found it.

Very sneaky...I had a hunch, and there it was.

I had a magical moment in this FM when I managed to knock out _five_ guards with one gas arrow.

    good job

That's wonderful news Christine amongst some of the more sad news of getting our FM fixes I'm downloading now and it will be great fun going through this next mission of yours I won't say the last mission cause you never know...you might want to build a 9th LOL. Ta and Good Hunting!
It's not how you win, it's how you play the game! HAVE FUN!

    playing Christine's newest FM

Well.he...Gristine....mjam...mjam..smkk....th'se cakes 're mjam...smkkk...tss .....werry, werry ....hik....burb.....I'm so sorry......so very GOOD! I'm taking another bite....should I choose the pink one of the one with the chocolat ...............let's see ..........chocolat its'gonna be!
    And ...........mjam.......mjam...smkkk....there're so ......smkkk.........many 'f 'm.........
    J'st a m'nut........ Ahhhh! That was good.
Sorry, it isn't good behaviour to speak with you mouth full, but Christine ........... THESE CAKES are delicious!!!
And as for the game.....can you get your architect to build me such a mansion ....WOW!
    spoiler:
I'm playing on expert and at first I thought: it's too easy. I still feel a bit that way, because the're not so many guards and they also aren't very clever, I think. I tricked them all very easily. The tricky part off course is, when you've got all doors open, searched all of the rooms and than can't find the key to open the towerdoors in the garden. I must've missed a secret somewhere. I also have to look again for that rare weapon of Oskar Denton. Will do tomorrow ........

    Nice work Christine

I just finished this...a great FM

GC, you must have missed at least 1 room:

    spoiler:
The armoury on the 1st floor (I'd say it's around one of the pools, but even that probably won't help much). You get the armoury key from Oskar Denton, who should be walking around his office on the first floor...then you can probably figure things out from there.

Christine, again, you're amazing!!!!!!!!! This is a huge, great mission! I just love your cakes and donuts :-) . And the mansion is absolutely beautiful. I'm having one problem though.....The weapon's location. I've been all over, and have all but 5 people knocked out. I've gotten all the keys, I think. Even the hidden one. I'm playing on the easy level first.

Thanks, and I hope we see a #9!

    Thanks! The download worked fine...

Does anybody know where I can get missions 3 through 7 at the moment? I just finished playing the first two and they were a heck of a lot of fun. I'd love to have the others before I play this one. Or could someone at least give me the names of the files in order so that when they are available I can grab them?

    @ Hagatha:
You can get all 7 missions from the german Thiefpage of von.Eins ( go to "Deutsche FM's"): http://www.thief-darkproject.de/

@ MissyH: The Weapon is hidden
    spoiler:
on a woodbeam in one of the towers. You need a rope arrow to get up. The ropearrows are hidden in the other tower.

    I hope it helpes you
