    Bah, DecoLayers

    So all I have to learn to use are the finer nuances of the Terrain Editor and then it's on to figuring out Projectors and xEmitters.

    Terrain is a breeze, no worries. Everything rosy. Plus I really dig the thing.

    But now I'm struggling with a decolayer.

    Density map loaded, static mesh loaded, all on a new layer, la la la. But it won't paint.

    It is set to display, that was the first thing dumbass me looked at. Fadeout radius is set at 256/1024, so I ought to be able to see it if it would paint (it's not like I have the Fadeout set to 1/2 or anything... sounds ridiculous, but I wouldn't put it past me), and there's no weird scale multiplier or such.

    The density is set from one of the Alleria textures, very white, ought to work nice. Alpha etc is set like any other non-base terrain. I can see the Alleria tex when I shunt the decolayer to the top, so I know that worked.

    I JUST CAN'T GROW GRASS ON THE MOTHERFUCKER.
