    T2 FM Undead Reckoning - 8th Jan 2004

Ok I finally finished my third FM. My eyes are tired.

Anyway you can download it from here.

As a warning, this is a zombie/haunt mission. Some areas may seem challenging, but hopefully it is lots of fun.

Arg, someone send it to CheapThiefMissions!

The cool thing about getting a lot of games for Christmas presents is that by the time you finish playing them there are a lot of Thief FMs ready to be played. ))

Weird, JohnD usually sends stuff to me, but there's nothing on the FTP site. I can't get it either, so I guess we'll all be waiting.

Edit: Duh, John Denison != JohnD. I usually pull John Denison's missions from his site. Oh, well, if anyone has this and wants to send it to me, see http://thiefmissions.com/hosting.html

Nope. The objectives are in the incorrect folder so Dark isn't loading them.

I just uploaded a corrected version. I had the wrong goals directory.

Epithumia can you please download it again and replace the one on your site with this one?

    Thanks!!

for those of you who don't want to download it again, here are the objectives:

    1. The Hammers are proud of their rosary beads. Find the rosary beads.

    2. The local Hammers have the Horn of Quintus in their possession. Steal it for yourself.

    3. Since everyone was scared off by the zombies, there should be plenty of loot left behind. Get at least 2500 in loot.

    4. The district beyond the east gate is the best way to escape. The gate is locked, so find the Bronze Gear Key.

    5. After you complete your other objectives exit through the east gate.

    6. ?

Let's see what I can remember.

The key on the guy in the hiding place opens the door to Bay 2...and you can get into that one guy's office via the "caged" ladder...you know what I mean. You've probably found the switch that will open the painting for the cage controls, so all you need to do is to climb the ladder and jump on the small ledge in front of the gate, and use a broadhead (or even a moss arrow, maybe) to hit the "up" button across the room...there's a broadhead nearby if you need one.

As for getting out of the cathedral, the secret button didn't work right for me and the bridge didn't stay extended, for some reason... so I strafe-ran and jumped to the other side of the gap...took me a few tries, but I finally got across.

I haven't finished yet -- I'm still short one rosary and 1200 loot -- but so far I've enjoyed this one.

There is another area you need to explore in the cathedral. To make it across the gap you'll find how when you get to the other area in the cathedral.

The bridge should stay when you press the button. As far as the rosary, you may have
    spoiler:
pulled the secret lever for the entrance to the crypt and thought it was for the bridge. The rosary is in the crypt area.

Aha! Thanks! I've restarted on Expert -- why I started on Normal is a question even I can't answer -- and the bridge worked this time. I'm sure it's my fault entirely. As for the rosary, I'll have to go back and check again. Note to self: work on observation skills.
