Here's a little list of tough loot I threw together for a different thread about this mission. I'll repost it here so it will be easier to find. It is in no way comprehensive, but it gives directions to some of the harder trinkets. I'd recommend playing this one on the medium difficulty, as the expert loot requirement is crazy-hard. Nighwalker is compiling a complete loot list, so check with her if you are still having troubles.
spoiler:Tiny, little, eye-straining rings:
Under the table saw in the monkey-guy's (Boris) room
Under the big boulder in the storeroom, close to the ladder, on the floor
Slightly less eye-straining rings:
In the bath tub
On the font in the storeroom
Annoying coins:
On table with grass in the secret room off of the master bedroom
In the waste room, in . . . the waste
On the sill beside the bed in the master bedroom, under the ugly face texture
Diamonds in plain sight:
Around the fountain in the entry room
In the corners of thepicture, upstairs
(also a necklace on the painting in the bathroom)
Secret Stashes
In the room with the woman in the red dress, check under the bedside table for a small switch. It opens a secret panel, revealing more treasure
In Boris' room (monkey-guy), look up in the rafters (near furnace) for a switch. This opens a secret panel, revealing the camera control switch and some loot
In Boris' room, throw aside the crates and check the floor to find a small secret panel. Inside is some loot and the Hammer you are looking for
I don't remember finding anything outside, save for the patrolling guards' purses. The other panel in the woman's room doesn't contain anything, although it is a secret door (I checked this in dromed, just to be sure). I finished the mission 20 loot short, so I guess I still must have missed something, somewhere. I think the hardest things to find are the tiny little gold rings, which are worth a hefty 150 gold!
I really liked this mission (despite some mild loothunt-induced insanity). I love all the custom textures, pictures, and AI skins. Lots of funI cracked up when I read his journal - all those poor priceless relics! And the intro, with the horn of quintus meeting its demise. Brilliant! Very nice job, whoever you are. Keep up the good work.
Look! It's art!![]()
