    T2 FM "Fletcher's Final Mistake" (May 20/2004)

Well it's up! This is my first FM. Many might have already played my little diddy for Komag's C5 "Bafford's Bone Collection." Bafford was a bit of a rush job. Fletcher is a bit more complete. There are two versions...one for the low res briefing and one for the high res briefing. The low res still looks pretty good so you won't miss much if you're on a 56K (like me).

Special thanks go to Lazarus, frobber, Nightwalker, Shadowspawn and John D.

Congrats on releasing it, Sly! I look forward to playing the final version. This is a fun mission folks, very T1-style, and with some interesting puzzles.

I relly liked Baffords Bone Collection. The home was very cozy, one of the coziest I have ever seen in a Thief mission. I wanted to move in there. Thankyou for another mission.

    Answers to #1-4:

    Nope, not in those locations.

I'm not sure if you wanted it spelled out specifically, if you did, here it is:

    spoiler:
Near the warehouse, there's a gate with a ladder leading down behind it, in an area that appears to be 'off the map'. You can get over that fence and down that ladder to find the Easter Egg.

    For #5:

    spoiler:
It opens a secret door at the end of the hall. If you flipped the switch before you went all the way to the end of the hall, you might not have realized that it was a secret door.

Downloading now! Now let's hope my brain works today, so I don't end up running back here for help every two seconds . . .

About 14 months and countless hours.

    @ Sluggs

Don't worry mate. Fletcher is certified 100% salt free.

Thanks for the kind words folks.

    I can't find him either

I think everybody is either out cold or dead.........I thought maybe he was one of the guys in the thieves guild but neither of the guys with pony tails was him so off I go to look around some more.

    Faboo work Slyfoxx

I finished but with almost 2000 short on money.
    spoiler:
I wonder if Fletcher has a stash somewhere?

    Master Garrett

You haven't gotten to the last area yet.

    spoiler:
Heading south in the lane going past the Crippled Burrick, across the courtyard, though the door. Keep going south to a backdoor. This leads to another area.

Fletcher is an "armed male thief"...Tomi is an "unarmed male thief" Neither are found in the Thieves den. They are not labled. (don't know how to do that yet )

Remember ...it says in Garrett's diary that Basso marked Fletcher's place with an "x" to the right of the door to his house and that said house is just south of The Crippled Burrick."

    killing Fletcher

I went back to before I killed Fletcher knocked him out and then carried him to the pier and dumped him in the water. Fitting no?

I think our friend the Mechanist has a wee bit of a drinking problem.

Just finished this one and I liked it a lot. I must confess I did something stupid, though. I did the whole part about getting the key to your weapons locker without realizing that I had a blackjack! I always check what the mission author has given me right at the start; this time, I didn't for some reason. Maybe I should look into this thing they call ghosting?

Anyway, thanks for the great mission SlyFoxx!

    @ Jack

It says in the read-me that you do have a BJ. But it was left for taffers who just have to BJ stuff. To play the way I intended you should not use it until you get the rest of your stuff. Then feel free to wack away. So you did good.
