    Firefly

    Hey there !

Firefly has been completed It is a little fm that Lobster and I built where the player gets to play "Joe" instead of Garrett. It has a little bit of town, a little bit of woods, pretty much a little bit of everything except zombies.

    and also at:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my betatesters:

Maloo,Azrarhn,Comfortably Numb, Oli G,wild_inferno 9, Dafydd, Flying_Hope,Yandros,Gloria Creep,Jabberwocky, Ravenhook,Polygon, Brother Renault and Freddy Fox. They worked very hard on this little fm

    Edit:
It's fixed now. Sorry about the inconvenience...

Nice FM. I like the design. Seems a nice place to live in.

The mission seems to be lit with quick lighting, with nasty flat shadows. Did you forget to relight it with Objcast lighting? You must have done as none of the objects are casting shadows. Silly you! Oh, that rabbit on the table next to the pond can be picked up and you get the "carry haunt" picture and you can't drop it! I had to reload my quicksave. Right, back to ze mission.

That can soon be fixed. I have run into something else though. Once i went into that house where the woman is cooking outside, everything started to get choppy making the mission unplayable. I can't play it like that so i'll have a look at the .mis file and see what's causing it. It could be the lighting but i won't know until i have tried it. Going to do that now.

OK. It seems to be fine now. I optimized it twice, recomputed the databases and relit it using Objcast lighting. All's well. YAY!

Just wanted to let you know I dled the missioned and played it. I enjoyed it very much. I never had any problems. The only question I have is where is the switch for the secret in the healers house? I searched everywhere for it.

I can't believe taffers' need spoilers 5 mins into the FM! Come on taffers', look harder. Anyone would think that you want to complete FM's as soon as possible for some reason.

I agree...It's out for 4 hours and spoilers already!!! Not even Rowena's Curse needed THAT many hints...just a half dozen more water arrows.

wohoo all finished! This FM was very fun to play, the only thing I did not like about it was it ended before i wanted it to lol

btw, i found a bug, but it can be avoided, if you rode the cart in the mine,

and try to ride it back again or walk back yourself, the game crashes to dekstop. it may just be my computer though. To avoid this bug, simply send the cart ahead of you, let it go all the way before traversing the track yourself

    Dear Diary,

I hope Yandros finishes Death's Cold Embrace soon, I cannot wait. I love to play his FM's. Each one a masterpiece in both Architecture and storyline.
It's FM's like his that calms us taffers for a while AND adds fuel to the fire of our insatiable thirst for FM's

    Brandi

its that motivation enough or wouldst thou likest to feel the edge of mine sword
