In my darkest hour of pc-game dryout, Christine and fibanocci saves the day!
No decent game out there for over a month. I have TDS just laying on my desk
cause I need a DVD and even a new graphic card... life is hard.
Loading up the mission...
I'm stuck. I made it to thespoiler:excavation point and entered the doors. I don't know how to get down without being killed.
john9818aspoiler:That's where the mission is supposed to end. If you read the objectives, you're supposed to leave that to last (Find the way into Orgasmia.) Have you got other objectives uncompleted?
The crash with the note must have something to do with the English texts because it worked fine when I played it with the German texts in place.
I really love this mission. The water section is full of things to do. But the
spoiler:scarecrow got my old heart racing like mad.

but i seem to be going around in circles, i can't seem to find the way to dayport? i am assuming it must be through the way where that big rat man is patrolling right? i read his note that said lotti left through a drain, but can't find one

shadows -spoiler:You can't actually get to Dayport. The road is blocked by rocks. You should have other objectives that you need to fulfill. Make sure you read everything you come across as well, as there are other objectives that show up.
I downloaded the mission and read the note by the bridge with no problem but when I went back and loaded a save right at the beginning of the mission and read the note again, the mission crashed.
I got the crash to desktop too.(Probably an error in the .str file) That was the only thing i had to complain about. I've just finished the mission, alone, no sneaking in here or anywhere else for spoilers!
It's a maze though and very easy to get lost. It took me a while to find everything and when i got thespoiler:it took me sooo long to find the place again to use the key!key to the excavation site
I've enjoyed this FM. I enjoy a mission where i can get lost in. Makes it seem more realistic. Good use of the magic mushrooms,spoiler:they come in handy for navigation. If you frob them out as you go along, you know where you have been.

Oh, before i go, how comespoiler:you can kill the Squirrels but not the Bunnies? Doesn't seem right to me!

Note to the crashes-to-desktop-bug:
Christine just wrote me that Nightwalker found out that these strange crashes occur:
- sometimes when you hit 'Escape' anywhere around the bridge/scarecrow-area
- sometimes when you load a savegame in this area and then try to read the scroll on the bridge.
So to avoid these bug please save before you enter this area or after you've left it again...
And btw: You don't miss something very important regarding the storyline when you don't read the scroll at the bridge. It only says:
Field test with genetically modified soy beans.

I need one more hint please.spoiler:I need help finding the herb.
i think i have been everywhere...even to the ruins...(which did not check off, but i had not finished other stuff)...cannot find medicinal plant or graffly's treasure....
my feet are sore
and of course...as is often the case...all i have to ask, and boom, i am on my way again! found the plant...of to explore some more
wait....i thought i was on my way....still cannot find the treasure

I downloaded and played this mission and it was excellent. I cant wait for the next part. I only got stuck twice, but was able to figure it out with a little exploring. As for the treasure and herb heres a hint.spoiler:For the treasure, you need to search the caves accessable through the water tunnels and look for an object to frob. For the herb plant, look carfully around the ape village. If you havent found the ape village then you need to explore the above ground areas and look for an object to frob near an ape.
