The key to that door is in
    spoiler:
    Bafford's bathroom.

and in the Thieves Lounge I simply can't figure out what to do. Does the Dragon banner have any significance? I tried cutting it, shooting it, etc. and I frobbed every part of it. I'm just not sure where to go from here.

That hole is where you drop the war hammer.
    spoiler:
The secret door switch is near the upper ladder.
The dragon is there for decoration.

I give up! How the heck do you find Bafford's bedroom/bathroom, etc.?
    spoiler:
Have opened all doors that I can see except for the paned glass one mentioned by Hope Vincent. Been through the 2nd floor royal chambers. Found the treasure room, opened all the gates, got the cook book and hand of glory.

Just as a point of interest, I went into the castle another way.
    spoiler:
Some man in a white shirt with a sword was walking toward the gates and I just followed him in.

    joanieS:

have you been to the royal corridors yet? if so do you remember an area:

    spoiler:
with two nobles sitting at a table ? theres a switch by "doorwaY" i guess youd call it. there's a guard then another big doorway. flip the switch then go across the hall,

    Bafford's bedroom is at
    spoiler:
the end of the hallway underground. If you go into the royal corridor around to the dining area, you will see a portculis, the guard's hallway, and then another portculis. The bedroom and more is past the second portculis.

As far as the comment about how you got into the castle, well that was an oversight on my part. The pirate heard you outside and went out to investigate, and then gave up.

Thank you, neighbor. What a dunderhead I am. I didn't open that portculis to keep the guard from coming in after me while I looked around and then forgot about it. Love your ghost!!!!

Excellent mission john. And castle is amazing.

Playing for 6 hours now, finished all but last objective, and now searching for last 450 of loot. Hopefully by 10th hour I'll find that as well.

Btw, people should be careful with their rings, always lost them.

Thanks John- Found that switch last night FINALLY by accident and was able to continue on and finish the level. Time for my rave before "Six Feet Under" comes on-

BEST MISSION OF THE YEAR SO FAR! Except for the 48 hour period where I was stuck trying to get into the Hall this was a non-stop funfest! The 'travellin' ghost' and the secret of why that dude was dead in the moat in a sitting position were highlights that make the mission memorable long after play is done.

I especially enjoyed accidentally frobbing things while looking for loot and then trying to figure out what I did. Plenty of notes give the info needed on what to do next also. Once entering the Royal Corridors it seemed like the mission suddenly kicked into overdrive and there was so much to do and see. Absolutely fantastic architecture also!

Have to go...I hear the theme music of my show starting..BTW, missed over 1000 loot...ugh... but got 8 out of 10 secrets. Final time 5 hours and 36 minutes.

****1/2 out of 5 stars for me. Thank you for the mission John!

    Bafford's Last Stand

    + 1/2

    That's my verdict!
    Been in BJ heaven for 5 h, 30 m, and 36 s.
    spoiler:
Missed some loot, gone ghost hunting, switch hunting and hit the bottom of the pit 3 times to finaly end up in a hole.

Tip about hard to find loot (I found this by "mistake"):
    spoiler:
In Baffords bathroom, on top of pillar whith shower handels.

    This is a FAB mission.

Just finished this fab mission and plan to play it again, this time on Expert. I really loved the part with the poor chap taking a dump in more ways than one.

Also this mission is a true KO-Party which I love. I like castle missions a lot and this FM is truely one of the best. Thanks.
It's so easy, but I can't do it.
So risky - but I gotta chance it.
It's so funny, there's nothing to laugh about

    BURRICK RECIPE BOOK

    So far I got 7/10 secrets and 4752 in loot on Expert. A damn good FM!! I've followed all the clues in the above posts and can't seem to get the following;

1- Burrick recipe book; is it near the burrick pit with all those spiders ??

2- A button to be pressed near the 2nd floor bar to extend/position that
    bridge.
I already frobbed that gold wine bottle in the corner of the bar to get the
extra loot as the face/head of the burrick slides over. Am I in the general
    area???

1 - The book is in the area that could be reached from Storage Room

2 - Lever, not button, is on the left side of the oubliette when looking from the bar

Yes. hehe. I was racking my brain trying to make that area better.

I'm off Wednesday, so I'll make a loot list then. Actually I'll start on it tomorrow so that it will be available early Wednesday.

Thanks everyone for the *'s and 's

Here are some hints on some hard to find loot:

    1 -
    spoiler:
Look in the floating barrel in the moat.

    2 -
    spoiler:
In the tower first floor under the armory, there is a collapsed pillar.

    3 -
    spoiler:
In the kitchen, not really hard to find, but look in the cabinet in the middle of the room.

    4 -
    spoiler:
Look on the floor near the stocks in the jail.

    5 -
    spoiler:
Look at the floor of the oubliette near the dead guy.

    6 -
    spoiler:
    Look near Benny.

    7 -
    spoiler:
Look in the fountain three times.

This is a real nice suprise. Nens has made the loot list already, and it can be found here.

Thank you so much Nens for making this list. Even I don't remember where all of the loot is.

Wow! This was a great mission. I had a lot of fun with it. 80 KO's and 9 kills! Yikes! I loved the architecture. The oubliette was a nice addition. I've always been intrigued by those kinds of dungeons.

The ghost was interesting too, though a bit annoying. Several times I was well hidden, only to flash briefly into view. I was never killed because of it, though. Was there any story connected to the ghost? I never found any, except references to it's existence.

    Great job! Thank you John!

there was a readable somewhere that someone wrote
    spoiler:
"it sounds like Mr. Smith, I didn't know that he died"

if you remember Mr. Smith was the murderer locked in solitary confinement in Shoalsgate station in the OM Framed because of his deeds.

I read that. Guess I forgot about it. Didn't remember the name either. Mind like a steel sieve.

I also ran across a Garrett comment about Mr Smith's house in the OM Ambush, but I never heard it in the game.
