    Text TCP to...

Stupid MSN, putting my 'you forgot your password' e-mail in junk mail, I thought I'd been kicked for my 'U R all h8ers, I h8 u alll, HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!11!' contributions.

Anyway, a thought struck me some time ago: while some have created text versions of classic FPS (fragments of Quake and Doom, as far as I'm aware), a text version of TCP would actually work as something beyond having a novelty value.

So, can I have permission to attempt this? Because my attention will probably stray 1/4 of the way through...

Probably Glulx for TCP, it really does demand some graphical attention (I can't pull myself away from Inform). [!]s all up one side, no doubt.

Sure. Sounds an amusing thing. Do you need anything from our side?

Thanks. I'd ask for the ConEdit file, but that's obvious crazy-madness. I think I've got the conversations and the flags that cause them pinned down bar that wretched hoop. In Thief all you had to do was hit the backboard... And most of the computer messages and infolinks, though probably not all the easter eggs.

I might need someone with a sense of style when it comes to designing all the useless window dressing.

I'll look through the conedit file and delete anything that I wouldn't want someone else to see. Where should I send it to?

Probably won't be for a couple of days yet, as am working on something.

Should I mail my address to you? I just don't want to be hit by every spam engine on the planet.

Sorry to be over enthusiastic, but has it been a couple of days yet?

I don't know if you received my e-mail address, but I don't care anymore. I'm off to do either a Paula Schaeffer or CT2 spoof.
