This isn't really "taffer art," nor is it by anyone from this forum.. but I thought eh why not share it? The reason I am posting it here is because it made me think of the thief 2 scene with viktoria in the forest. This looks like a place that she might hang out at.

The pictures and the method is really good, but the content isn't very Thiefy - what with beating up people and breaking their windpipe

Three days with Artrage 2... Phew!
I promised in some thread that I'd sketch the bugbeast hive-city.
    So here is "Patriya Mantipopulae"
I tinted the image with that same style as the T1/T2 videos.

P.S I think the bugbeasts have a "reverse hierarchy" compared to most insects. All of their soldiers and workers are female so their leader must be a male. A king instead of a queen.

Got no idea, he got a third eye though

Maybe someone made that third eye with a pickaxe, though. Looks good, I just wonder what it would look like with the brush strokes going horizontally or according to the walls in perspective. It might give some more...focus or tension or something but honestly I've never been a painter myself.

    A nice picture indeed.
As Beleg said, strokes of the brush are more significant than expected so it's always wise to mind them.
    (1. I shouldn't say so because I don't care about the brush strokes myself and
    2. I know what I wanted to say - but did you understand?)

It was a lot of work and I feel as if I have no other choice than to show you what I did.

hah, I didn't think it was a third eye, I thought of it as a marking or tattoo

I was thinking what the creature could be and I imagined that can be some sort of underground species that locates objects around by hearing like bats do with a sonar. This means that this creature can see you and hear you in darkness so you can hide only in places with loud sound like near a generator to cover your “sound” image or behind walls only. Shadows could not work only a cover system.

An here another one, just trying to spend time till 11 May

I'm not sure if I can call it art, but I made a paper model of the average T2-face today.

    Nice work Kin!
Your drawings really capture Thief's wonderfull atmosphere and style in an unique and interesting manner.

Very beautiful sketch. The face reminds me a bit (don't beat me!) John Cena.

With all this Thief 4 hype around I got inspired and did Garrett posing, I always wanted to have a clear full view of Garrett so here's a concept for how I imagine he looks like:

Careful Dom, with the way things are going in this crazy internet, that image is likely to wind up in every Thief 4 concept art gallery on every site that doesn't actually research what they're posting.

(Since it's probably better than what we're actually going to see as Thief 4 concept art!)

    Nice one, Dominus

I always wondered how Garrett actually carries his arrows around. Rather than this I imagined a quiver on his back, but hidden under the cloak, and he would take out the arrows from under his left arm.

Where he hides his bow is a mystery though. A Bag of Holding? A pocket universe? Or is his bow simply kid sized?
