I just finished this FM again at all three difficulty levels. Nothing gets you in the Christmas spirit quite like this mission.

If you count the first version that came out around X-Mas 2003, then I have played A Thief's Holiday for the last 5 holiday seasons. I think I can safely call it a tradition, now.

    Thanks again, Yandros!

Ooooooooh, thanks for the reminder! Just in time too. Such a good FM for this time of year. *cheers* everyone.

Thanks again, it was at the time a very challenging mission for me to make, but I had a clear vision of what I wanted to do and that always helps. I need to play it myself this year - I don't think I've played it since 2005.

Not just for Christmas time, but a fan favorite year-round.

    Christmas in July anyone?

I love this mission. I plan on playing it again this Christmas, like on Christmas day.

I plan on playing it again - I haven't had it quite that long, but yes, I'd say this will become a tradition for me. Wow though, I can't believe it is already December of 2007!

I was just thinking about this FM the other day. I think it's time to play through it again and get in festive mood.

Any chance of a new version this year, Yandros? Or maybe a contest using A Thief's Holiday as a starting point?

Holy Crap! I just realized I;ve had the 2003 version this whole time, and never downloaded 2004! I'll have to try that one out tomorrow.

Hope you enjoy it. The 2003 version was crap, the 2004 significantly improved.

Really? I played it on normal and I didn't really notice anything different about it (2004 version). Didn't seem any different than the way I remember it last Christmas. Maybe it was subtle differences.

There should be a fair-sized ToDo list as your objectives, as opposed to "find a way to end the mission" in the 2003 version. On Expert the list is quite long.

OK. I replayed this game, read all posts, including my own and can't be able to find the diamond stones ánd the last cookie in the tree ... + the knife.
Please give me a specific clue here
    I'm playing on expert.

If you open up the mission's zip file there is a file called ATH04_CheatSheet.html
Basically the "loot list" for all difficulty settings.

Hey folks! I guess this is the appropriate time to play this mission!

I'm playing in expert difficulty, and I cannot find the key up the rafter, suggested in the CheatSheet page in the zip file.

Someone could tell me precisely where are the keys, since we neither have the compass in this difficulty level?

There should be a 2009 edition....the keeper's compound looks kinda gloomy
but this is one of the best festive fms ive played, despite playing it over 10 times!

@mass: on the rafter above the back door, at the right end (in the corner).
