    Homo Arbor FM - 2005.02.25

Weird name, huh? Well, anyway, I'm off to get it at thiefmissions.com. It's the sequel to Friend Basso. I liked the first one, so titles are of little consequence. Thanks, Rosa.

I'm assuming Tree Beasts or something like them.

It's a bit linear so far, but I like the scenery.

    I can't go any further.
    spoiler:
I can get through the window that is the "back door" to de Winter's. The window doesn't open completely and it's angle is too sharp..

Even if it's possible, this much difficulty is not fair.

A pretty enjoyable mission, all and all. Thanks for the hard work. Everything except the loot objective is done and I'm almost ready to leave but, as usual, I have a remarkably pitiful loot count - 2150.

Any of you actually skilled taffers have any hints? I'm guessing I missed a big stash or two somewhere.

I think I checked out everything. I wasn't able to
    spoiler:
get through the door behind the counter in the cell area. I did flick that little switch inside the safe, to no avail. I'm guessing, from one of the notes, that the armory is back there and while I don't need the equipment anymore, I'd like to take a looksee.
    Help. Thanks.

Alright, first of all metal dawn, that window is
    spoiler:
the exit actually (this will be your last objective and the mission will end when you enter the room so don't worry about the window)

radioman, your guess is right, but that switch you mentioned actually
    spoiler:
moves one of the beds in the guards room nearby and you can go down to a place that will significantly boost your loot). After you go down there, a guard with the missing armory key will appear at the front door

In the meantime, i'm going through a personal drama myself since i screwed up again and finished the mission with 3117/3137 Goddamnit!

    Anyhow, lovely mission

Forget about the window. I was looking at the switch the whole time. Curses! I hate it when that happens.

Oh yeah, another new T2 Fan Mission. Keep them coming please, I can't live without them. They sure make my weekends and I feel so darn proud to be palying the best game in the world.

    Long Live Thief.
It's so easy, but I can't do it.
So risky - but I gotta chance it.
It's so funny, there's nothing to laugh about

Yet another FM. And not only:

I'd like to pay off to many of you for your advices with mine ones. But how can I do it, when checking forum DAILY, and when I see it is new FM, many taffers are already half done with new FM...

    Another enjoyable mission but
    spoiler:
where do I find the code for the metal door in the garden? A letter says it is in the usual place but I don't know where that is! I have been all over the mansion. I presume it is hidden in the bedroom but I can't find a secret lever there!

Ok, I must be missing something quite obvious if you all got this far...

I'm still near the very beginning and completely stuck... I've knocked out the 2 guards in the beginning, sneaked past the hard-helmeted one and the knocked out the other 3.

But what now? the button-sounding lever in the guardhouse doesn't seem to do anything, the gate doesn't open and the cave in the water after breaking the balcony is a dead-end...

Breaking the balcony? It took me about 5 minutes to jump over it. The cave is not a dead end, look up for air and then turn around.

    Sir lance
Look at a book in library.
    spoiler:
Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne

aville, thanks. The reason (excuse) I didn't notice
    spoiler:
the guards' bed had slid aside to reveal that nice stash was that it hadn't slid aside because the bedroll I had dropped was blocking it.

    spoiler:
Stand in front of the door with the secret weapon and to your left is a large metal switch, push this and then turn 90 degrees to your left, in front of you will be a panel with a cog in it. On the panel is a small safe door, which should have moved to reveal the switch for the door to the secret weapon.

Thanks dino. Mission complete but shows no secrets in stats despite finding a number of hidden levers. I really enjoyed the mission though.

That bastard de Winter. (SPOILER?) I couldn't kill him. That made me so mad because so dearly deserved it. So I shoved him into the freezer and locked him in.
    @aville: I finished with 3127, where's that last ten?

Okay I am really, seriously missing something here! I've been running around the de Winter's for...too long. And I come here and see people talking about a metal door in the garden? Um, what garden? At the front of the house outside there are a couple of metal doors that are unfrobbable...and no metal doors in the backyard at all (where the party is set up). Would someone be so kind as to describe what's right in front of my face *cry*, because I'm so blind I can't see it!

The metal door is behind a wall in the garden. The wall is opened by frobbing the torch near the drunk guard
