Yeah and don't ever hit save by accident overwriting the original saves. I think your new skins are lost then...

Time for some screens of my recently created areas(and probably the last):

After I put some more detail,I'll start adding some of the plot elements where, of course, I'll scream for help because I'll probably get stuck at some damn scripting problem.

    Thanks everyone!
btw, I've finally decided what the title will be: I'm planning on a 3 mission campaign/series called 'The Assassins' and this miss. will be named 'Encounter in the dark'.

Great, I especially like that gap in the wall. If I ever manage to build an FM, I'd love to have a City setting like str8g8 had. But apparently it's hardly possible to create such a long view along an alley as I like them to see in old towns.

It is a bit tricky but I don't think it is nearly impossible. The lights will probably be the most problematic part, but since it's a dark, dirty alley full of atmosphere you won't need too many, just in 'essential' parts...

Since I'm thinking of a setting at dawn, it should be even easier because I would not need the usual lot of artificial lights – only in dark areas, which are very small anyway. Hehe...I've not even finished the tutorial. =|

You remind me....there was something I wanted to check about the Romanian language...

meh . . . just got finished up reskining all the meshes to what I had before - just seemed to drag out as I've been busy with stuffz the last few weeks

Anyhow, I had some ideas rollin in my head, and I needed a break from my current mission, so I started working on the next mission which will be the follow up to my current one.

    I might post a screenie later . . . we'll see . . .

    Multi Map Mission

    Hey
Presently working on a multi-map mission called Raptor
    Starts something like this:

Raptor an old and very wealthy friend has a mission for me. Although most of his wealth is from not so reputable sources, He pays well and is in good standing in the town of Sweetwater. He asked me to aquire this Pagan Leafers Map for him and has offered a large amount for it's delivery. He also mentioned a Golden Dagger that belonged to the queen of Rasamatas, he belives I could pick it up on the way. He also made note of his priceless Climbing Gloves that he left at the wine storage of one Alexander Cross. He says if I find them their mine to keep, Hmmm..sure I could put those to good use! I over heard last night at the pub of a tower that contains a Diamond Necklage. I may have to pick that up as well. Guess I'll have to watch out for the City watch I hear thay are after anyone after dark. From the looks of it this town has some fairly weathly residents that I need to uh..relive of some of their wealth. Better lay low in this Hotel, Raptor set me up in until night and then...well you know...it time to go to work"

    Subject to changes...lol

Here are some screens on the map I'm working. It's coming along nicely, all my objectives and scripts work(not that there are many). I wish the final packaging for final distribution was easier. I will need some beta-testers shortly, will announce here. Once again thanks for everyone for all the answered questions.

Currently at second Beta stage in fact (don't ask: I have enough testers)

So, hopefully final version before Christmas!

Tiens; thanks a lot, will do. My mission's almost ready, but you know, always there are last minute bugs

Ziemanskye, great shots, good idea on the chairs...

Tazonne, thanks, I'm looking forward to your mission as well, the atmosphere looks great!

Just for you guys so that you know that I'm not only asking silly questions:

    *

    (crappy images made with Fraps)

This is what I call second flow of work; just there to give a rough impression of what it is supposed to look when it is finished. The sky is interim, a lot of the stuff that makes the scene vivid is missing, in fact I should not post these images at all because they also imply that it could be finished somewhere soon, but Flux made me envy.

    * ...inspired by this silver-black artwork you can see on the "Files & Multimedia" page on TtC. I try to use the old artworks and videos a lot because of this whole dodgy TDS atmosphere discussion, we'll see how far I'll come.

PS: I don't think I'll forget to give credit to everyone who helped me, but until now I would've had a lot of trouble without str8g8's beautiful grey wood texture.
