Wow, having the original for comparison really shows off the new ones.

That sounds a bit excessive considering that some authors may like to place several coin stacks together, and when the player sees them, they won't exist on the world for much longer

I've been redoing the painting textures from the original sources.
    See this thread.
It's a bit costly on palettes, though.

Sometimes it's the simple things that people take for granted, that could use some work, and a big improvement can be had.

You have too much time on your hands Zylon.

    Nice work (as usual) NV.

Dude, you really should look into this cool new thing called "Google". It lets you find all sorts of things really quickly.

I would have to agree with Zylon on that one. The texture being round, doesn't mean that the plates were meant to be round as textures can be totally out of whack from the model and look great. Didn't they have some round plates in there anyway?

They look octagonal to me. Yes I am a pedant.

I prefer them round personally judging by the screenshot.

Octagonal plates are soooooooo last year darlings.

I wasn't actually being serious. Not completely, anyway. I was just obliquely making the point that, in the much broader sense, a high-poly crate isn't necessarily a sphere.

As for The_Dude, I have no idea what point he thinks he just made.

Eight sides was the Dark Engine's idea of 'round'.

Just imagine if LGS had actually used Dromeds ability to handle object polys originally. I think at the time it would've blown everone away at how detailed their objs were.

Wow, those were supposed to be tapestries? I always thought they were... I dunno... gold-inlaid bamboo or something.

    Fantastic updated model though.

    Here's a preview of what's coming tomorrow.

Not a 1:1 replica of course, more of an ... interpretation.

    I am amazed by this...

Wow, these models are looking so great! You guys are breathing new life into our old favorite.

It's been a long time since I was able to play any Thief, and lately, I've been itching to play T1 and T2 through again... Will I be able to just unzip something into my install folders in order to see these in-game? Is this enhancement pack just for T1, T2, or is for both?

    Keep up the incredible work!
