Well, this probably counts: I was invited to give a talk/demo to a regional chapter of the International Game Developers Association. That went quite well and they were really jazzed about the game - they were especially amazed that none of us ever met in RL and that it was completed at all.

Incidentally, if anyone has extra copies of any of these mags I would pay handsomely for copies.

You didn't know, how can you be a liar to something you didn't know.

I don't know if this has been posted but there's a Four Fat Chicks review.
Someone said on an official gaming industry site (not the one below) that T2X is the best Thief game since The Dark Project.

An Australian mag called PC User has T2X on its cover DVD in the Games MOD section.

T2X referenced as the best mod of last year in Computer Games!

Forgive me if this was already mentioned here, but I just came across this in the April issue of Computer Games (U.S. edition) - LARGE IMAGE.

And another in the May issue...

Well, actually the entire FM community got a nod:

Grats to the T2X team, Sluggs, Timon and Bho!

The April 2007 and final issue of Computer Games Magazine (page 94) mentions the 1.1 patch has been released and how the mod is even better.

Anybody besides Biohazard at the-circle get this month's PC Gamer with the bit about Thief fan missions and T2X? Is it the U.S. PC Gamer or the British PC Gamer?

Nope. But there are rare exceptions, apparently. Best to play it safe.

The only real rule regarding magazine scans is that they can't be from an issue currently on sale. That's for TTLG's protection -- there's no other reason for it. If publishers didn't have idle and easily-stirred-to-petty-jealousy legal departments, it'd all be no worry. But TTLG has a large enough profile that we attract attention sometimes.

As soon as an issue is withdrawn from the stands, it's pretty much fair game. Especially since it basically improves the chances of people picking up a future issue of the magazine. Or subscribing. Or ordering that back issue. Etc.
