    Rosaries Are Red (Thief Novice Contest)

    If at first the explosive machine doesn't work, keep trying. I had to place the two required items about five times before the machine finally worked. It seems that the items must fall in just the right spot. Try dropping them instead of throwing them.

    Edit: Hmmm........the zombie in the lobby can't be destroyed with flash bombs - just temporarily blinds him like other AI.

    zombie bug is new to me, didn't try to flash him, i also had machine trouble, but

    i had saved my two fire arrows and blasted the door with those.

    A fire arrow does work on the lobby zombie, just as it should.

    Nice mission, but I seem to have some problems. I'm playing on expert.
    First: the objectives don't show, so I don't know, what to do.
    Second: the missions ends in the public works station after reading the message there. I haven't been to the vault, haven't used the machine and haven't activated the elevator, so I guess it shouldn't end there?

    edit: ignoring the message made it possible to go on with the mission but after blowing open the first door the mission didn't end, and the second door isn't frobable. Should it end there?

    But I had much fun playing this mission!

    get in the office where the bantam node was without using a fire arrow... not pickable and I never found a key...

    Yandros: I used my sword, but later I found the key in the sewers, close to the skeleton arm. Poor Maurice, I guess.

    john9818a: for the code check the 4 statues. Each one has a number, the first is indicated by a "[", last by a "]"

    The objective problem -

    there are four goal_max_diff which prevents any objective from being seen.


    Anyway I finished this one I think. I still had fun playing this FM.

    Your thinking of Jax64 FMdml package that was posted in the original dev thread about a package put together by Voodoo. Since them Jax, Unna and myself have fixed another 40/45 missions.

    When we finish all the 2005 T2 missions, hopefully within a few weeks, Jax's will be including FMdml in T2Fix so there shouldn't ever be the need to manually install dml's again for nearly 400 missions (2000-2005), but still we're posting the dml's in their respective threads as good practice, as well as giving people the chance to replay missions as soon as they are fixed, after all the 2006 fixed mission probably won't be ready till early next year and 2007 next summer.

    Very appreciative of your work. I have a list of older missions I've not played yet and this is great to know when I do they may have a fix. Now, do I just check that thread then when it comes time to check back? Or is it always going to be a T2Fix distro?

    Check the relevant entries in the Brief Summaries, I’ve placed a note at the bottom of each entry with details of any fix and a link to the dml.
